It's in Exynos 9810 revi... moreYeah, gadgetversus, i dont think its a reliable source, but then again i havent seen exact tdp figures for mobile chips anywhere. Anandtechs power figures are taken for the gfxbench tests, which from what i have seen stresses gpu to max but only uses a bit of cpu, like half of max clocks. That might explain why exynos is that power hungry in that test even with a more efficient cpu.

It's in Exynos 9810 review.
It's more like 80 percent more power hungry. I have no idea what happened there.
But S8's review showed mostly like 15% more power hungry.
I guess possibly it might be for Exynos CPU being very efficient.
About power draw, AnandTech shows average power draw, Not TDP.
But seeing AnandTech's average power draw I'm kinda starting to doubt my source which I have already shared(it will be published when Gsmarena allows it).

I read AnandTech Article I read the exynos 8895 and SD 835 comparison just yesterday(again). The GPU power draw of 8895 is roughly about 15%. At the same time performance is about 25% higher. I didn't see a 70% more power draw. It's just impractical. I bet even Exynos 990 won't draw 70% more power.
I won't vouch for Exynos 9810 but Exynos 9820's GPU was as efficient as SD 855 but Exynos GPU was much slower.

Power efficiency is measured on 'Performance/Watt' scale.
Let's give you and example and after this if you don't understand I can't help you.
Suppose your house need major fixing. Now in your town there are 2 teams, team A and team B.
Team A takes 100$ per hour and Team B takes 60$ per hour.
Team A will finish the work in 5 hours. Team B needs 15 hours.
Which team is more efficient ?
Same with SD 855 and Exynos 7904.
Now lets get a little more deep.
What efficient core these 2 SoC are using ?
A55 for SD855 and A53 for Exynos 7904.
Now is A55 more efficient or A53 ?
Same about power core. A76 is more efficient than A73.
SD 855 has node size advantages too.
You're just counting on heavy load but ignoring all other situation.

Every common semiconductor stuff can work upto 99 degrees no matter if it's made by Intel or AMD. After this it could work but shut down for safety.
I included GTX 1070 to give enough power to reach a temp. Without a good GPU the surface temp of a good cooling system laptop will never surpass 40 degree.
You're just stupid enough not to understand why I include the 1070.
You don't have to explain anything to me as long as you keep your mouth shut and don't comment about anything ignorantly.
