AnonD-754814, 19 Sep 2020You're again comparing it wrong way. SD 855 is definitely more efficient than Exynos 79... moreDon't you understand??? A 3100mah exynos 7904 last longer than a 4000mah sd 855. Being less efficient this 7904. And the sd855, which is ofc more efficient, has that 7nm build process (or whatver it has, 12 or 10) and idk what else to preserve battery
I don't get it what you understand, all I'm saying is, in personal experience, 7904 proved to be much more efficient than sd 855. And they should have been equal, as that 855 had a smaller distance between the transistors, and had a much bigger battery

AnonD-754814, 19 Sep 2020What is the gaming phone price ? 800$ for Asus ? A 800$ PC will give much better results. An iqoo (not here in romania, as we dont have them) might just as well be 350 euro. For 350 euro, unless you buy a second hand computer, which some people might not want, it's not good for gaming. Most you could do is have some vega 8 graphics and play gta 5. Which ok, is better, but you just take what you want from what I say. I said that he keeps on rambling about gaming phones being the best all rounders.

AnonD-754814, 19 Sep 2020Read you comment again and check how it feels. It definitely feels like you're giving tho... moreOh please stop. This is the last time I'm trying to explain to you
There is no such thing as normal temp!!! Each cpu brand, be it computer or smartphone, has it's own normal temps. I gave as example a desktop cpu comparison, but I never compared anything between phones and desktops. And gtx 1070? Now we on to gpu temps?
        No we're not.
Each brand has it's own safe temps. To give this example again, amd is already ready to burn at 70 degrees, while an intel can go up to 85 no problem
Same might be with snapdragon and exynos. Period
If you keep on rambling about other stuff, I will consider you a troller, a comment count bumper or just st***d. I just praised you the other day for being on of the few good people here, but seems something happened to you exactly this day

After sending my note 20 ultra exynos back I can tell you that the speed was the least of my worries.
The device got insanely hot 🔥 that I thought it exploded.
Not to mention the battery drain.
The issue with the exynos version of phones given by Samsung hat 0 cooling a massive health hassart and Very dangerous.
I will never ever by a phone with a exynos chipset.

Despite the benchmark lead my concerns still are:
                1. No point of the lead if the battery efficiency is behind by 15% average
                1. No point of the lead if the thermal is hotter by more than 5 degrees Celsius.

I mean Exynos customers have been paying more for less all theses years

But then Snapdragon owners will be pissed that they
don't really have the top of the line Galaxy S/Note anymore

The only way out is to offer the same device everywhere, just like they did with the Fold2.

I want a chip with A13 Bionic power with more efficiency, tired of these pointless numbers, SOCs are so powerful, the apps however are not even hardware breaking , so much power for nothing, smartphones are slowly turning to super cars, more power less mileage, bigger size, more expensive parts, exotic materials with less durability, it’s like the smartphone industry is literally killing itself, wearables like a smart watch and AR glasses would soon change everything, I don’t miss the golden age of smartphones, they were cool while they lasted anyway

It may be a little faster than the Snapdragon on the CPU side but it still has to compete with the Adreno GPU and if Xynos a little faster on the CPU side and the Snapdragon is significantly better with its GPU then the Snapdragon is still going to perform better in the areas that matter to most users. Graphical performance matters a great deal on our smartphones.

There were some insidious things going on about Exynos 990 last year. Because Samsung never releases their flagship SoC that early. They released it probably in October. That's why many tech reviewer thought there might be another SoC called Exynos 9830 that would feature in S20 series. But that didn't happen.

I'm saying if one take the compromises of a gaming phone the advantages start to feel minor.
This is why it won't be popular. This is why no major brand offers gaming phone except Xiaomi.
