AnonD-4384, 18 Jul 2012What does "dual-standby" means, the 2 simcards are both activated at the same time? ... moredual-standby means that the two simcards are active at the same time. there are other dual sim phones that you have to turn off the other sim to activate the other. so with dual-standby you can receive text and/or messages at the same time
AnonD-4384, 18 Jul 2012What does "dual-standby" means, the 2 simcards are both activated at the same time? ... moreHi,
Dual-sim Dual-standby means 2 Sims will be active at the same time. However, if you are on call on one sim, the 2nd sim will not be available (if someone calls you on the 2nd sim, he will get a "phone switched off / unavailable" message). Dual sim - Dual ACTIVE means you can receive calls on both the sims at the same time (putting one on hold while talking on the other ). Hope this helps.
The MTK6575 is single core. The new 6577 is dual core. The source you linked says 6575 which would mean single core. But that china chip is smoother than older qualcomms anyway..
What does "dual-standby" means, the 2 simcards are both activated at the same time? Your thoughtful response is highly appreciated.
This phone is great for average people but are u sure that the cpu is dual core ??!!
I think it has single core because most sites write this in there reports !!
thank u acer for this amazing products
I wish it weren't dual sim.
And if this gets Jelly Bean update, it would make sense. A lotta sense.
Are you sure about the dual core cpu ?
Most sites say it has a single-core 1GHz MTK 6575 processor.
