I just got the Nexus s Jelly bean update notification today morning.and I updated it.I had bought it in India
I just got the (OTA) Jelly Bean update for my Nexus S in Brazil.
Ps.: It was bought in the USA (T-Mobile) though.
As well as the galaxy nexus. My friend of mine has this phone and he just updated it in 4.1 OS. -from the Philippines.
Hopefully the Delay isn't long. My dad uses the Nexus S with Voda, and i'd love to see Jellybean in action before downloading it on my i9100 (once available).
Chewy, 19 Jul 2012EDIT: My Mistake I was thinking about the latest nexus, not the samsung nexus sEither way, in a sense, you are right. The i9000 won't be getting it because of 'touchwiz' UI... or atleast SAMSUNG wont release it, the XDA devs have though.
AnonD-55093, 19 Jul 2012This relic is getting the update and we galaxy s2 owners are left in the lurch? This just sucksofcourse this ''relic'' would be getting dibs first. Its a Google phone. All the rest come second.

Telstra is NOT shutting down its 2100MHz 3G network. It is closing down then shared network with 3 (now part of Vodafone), so there will be some areas with less 2100 coverage, but it will still exist (there are plenty of standalone 2100MHz areas for Telstra).

That network was being leased off to vodafone as a network and now that they are running on the 850 network, telstra are shutting down the 2100. so if a phone can't run on the 850, and since the new vodafone network runs on 850, it won't be getting 3g coverage.
Chewy, 19 Jul 2012Galaxy S1 and Nexus S are the same? Which planet are you on?EDIT: My Mistake I was thinking about the latest nexus, not the samsung nexus s
dev, 19 Jul 2012Hahahaha delayed! such a vodafone thing to do.It's not Voda's fault it has been delayed, the update needs to comply with Australian Standards and this one doesn't, I am sure it will be ready soon
