[deleted post]Maybe because they need it then. Ever thought of that? And prices of phones usually go down slightly towards the release of the successor, and more after the release. I bought the Redmi Note 7 Pro for $180 last August, I'm sure it sold for more earlier – that's when Redmi Note 8 pro was yet to be announced – because I needed it. I didn't have one month to wait, because deals I'd lose that one month would likely trump the price of the phone itself.
But you're talking about SoC here, not phone. SoC is only one of the many components of a phone, not the whole package. A phone with SD732G could even be a better all-rounder than one with SD750G. So, do you even think?
[deleted post]Im in sales and of course i know about consumer and thats why i can tell mr cybercraap...new realme phone launched here with better value (to be on sale next week )than the one launched a week ago and people already started cancelling their order ..its a commodity and people will want the best they get out of their money..and there are grievances with many customers over the recent trends especially in chinese mobile companies...and soon enough they will launch with 5g capable chipset and better software in upcoming months...unless they cut price of previous phones ,obviously the new ones will kill their market
Andreidinutu, 23 Sep 2020I'm living on a samsung with a 7904.
You really think I care about gaming???
Actually you wrote you do a bit earlier here, and now you don't? Strange enough to make me react. (see "Completley agree with you." etc.)
Andreidinutu, 23 Sep 2020I'm living on a samsung with a 7904. You really think I care about gaming?Yeah you might but a lot of people here do care about it. Like really If I can survive on a device with 1gb of ram and a bad mediatek processor. Than I think most people can survive on devices with 3gb or 4gb of ram dude. I mean I just emulate some games and they run pretty decent dude.
AnkitG, 23 Sep 2020Any idea about why Snapdragon would launch an 8nm 5G chipset? I think they are failing in thei... moreIt's a midrange chipset, they put it in older 8nm node to reduce the cost, who wants to pay premium for a midrange device? And besides, 7nm has too many orders now from different companies like AMD (which has the largest order for 7nm), and Apple for the A13.
AnkitG, 23 Sep 2020Any idea about why Snapdragon would launch an 8nm 5G chipset? I think they are failing in thei... moreabsolutely! I was surprised why they've done this. Even mediatek is launching all 5G chips at 7nm
Any idea about why Snapdragon would launch an 8nm 5G chipset? I think they are failing in their strategies.
Andreidinutu, 23 Sep 2020Great example of a troller. All your comments on this thread are like this. He had a point. Pe... more"Anything over a 710/712 is perfectly capable of anything.
And you have a 765g, that's ultra fast.
I do belive it won't bother anyone.
But still I do prefer my sd855, as it's better at almost everything."
Weren't you the person that said this, or was it your alter ego? Reading that, I was actually glad that there are comments which make sound, not just valid, sense here. That's unfortunately short-lived. Went straight back to applauding a comment that said "sorry" to those who recently bought phones with SD765G, because SD750G was announced with marginal differences. Wow!
AnonD-949291, 23 Sep 2020What do you think people will buy at this point of time iphone 12 or year old iphone 11? Ofcou... moreYou're beyond salvation. Someone that wants to get iPhone 11 will still go ahead and get it. You know that there are people who still get iPhone XR, right? But that's iPhone, different talk.
Your brand of stupidity is yet to be discovered!
Uhh, the GPU is 10% faster than 730G? The 732G was 15% faster, so that means the 618 in 732G is faster than 619 in 650...
Cyberchum, 23 Sep 2020Ahhh! So you tell them "sorry" or RIP? Because you know that they're not happy ... moreWhat do you think people will buy at this point of time iphone 12 or year old iphone 11? Ofcourse iphone 12
Even if they will buy iphone 11 ,they will wait till iphone 12 launches and will buy for price drop, thats a different story...
Ur stupidity is astronomical...
Andreidinutu, 23 Sep 2020Great example of a troller. All your comments on this thread are like this. He had a point. Pe... moreAhhh! So you tell them "sorry" or RIP? Because you know that they're not happy with their purchases, right? Or, maybe, because the performance gap between SD765G and SD750G is so huge? When will people learn to be happy with what they have and stop projecting their insecurity? It's like an addiction, always wanting the next best thing. That's why you'd see some that aren't really rich use the little funds they have to shop for a newer phone, when the one they have is still very capable. Shopaholism
Sorry to break it to you, phones are launched all the time, by different OEMs. They should wait for new SoC when they need a phone like today, when they know that the phone they're buying will suit their needs? Tell that to the average buyer, or even to the internet tech forum visitor who knows what he/she wants. I'm probably more tech conversant than you are, it still didn't stop me from buying the Redmi Note 7 Pro last August – after my phone was stolen – when I knew that the successor would soon be announced.
They should wait because of what? MmWave? Many people aren't even getting Sub-6 two years from now. Or what is the landmark difference between the two SoCs? Go tell that to people who bought phones with SD855 after SD865 was announced. Human wants, insatiable!
Cyberchum, 23 Sep 2020And sorry for those who would buy phones with this one, because there will be ones with a bett... moreGreat example of a troller. All your comments on this thread are like this. He had a point. People bought their phones right before this, and it's not worth buying a phone right before a new one launches, as new cpu's only launch each 7-8 months
The leaked benchmark (from Xiaomi's engineering sample) seems to indicate that SD750G is somewhere between SD765G and Dimensity 820.
SD765G < SD750G < D820.
SD750G is indeed a very powerful 5G SoC.
AnonD-949291, 23 Sep 2020i was talking regarding the processor not new mobiles every week ...but yeah gone are the days... moreI partially agree with u but its better to buy samsung midrangers cause they will stick with their mighty 9611 except that xiomi realme will surely bring bring sd690 and sd750 powered phones soon
Anonymous, 22 Sep 2020it can even 730 beat 820Put your glasses on and look again. Nothing from Qualcomm, in midrange segment, can beat 820.
