That's not too mini. I have an under 4 inch phone coming with a high peecevtsgec
Ha Ha Sony, you look even more ridiculous with your elongated stick TV remote format ! The 12 Mini, that's what i was waiting for instead of your Xperia 5 II. Apple will sell millions of them, easily. Thank you Apple and kudos.
They have been boasting about a more efficient processor for years now. How about actually having a better battery instead?
The best decision by Apple, more sizes for each phone generation should be the normal launch. Not all people like to buy big screen phones neither do for people with small phones. more choices for different consumers' tastes.
Mr Bluesman, 21 Sep 2020Hope this becomes a trend, I have a hard time trying to carry those giant slabs in my pocket.Still to big for me, hoping for 3.5" screen max like iPhone 4

hope samsung and sony will consider making compact phones again .
Only Apple can release mini with flagship specs.
No android can be mini. The battery requirements is too much for the unoptimised android OS. Maybe android 12 or 11 down the road, as they continue to remove features, because they know they can't keep up.
Samsung tried, but was burned because they squeeze too much battery that their phones explodes.
The main good thing about Apple having a mini phone is that their main Android rival, Samsung, may actually re-introduce the Galaxy Mini line to compete, and THAT would be the phone I'd go for. I currently have a Samsung S8, which I'll replace in 2021 by whichever small, premium phone is available, whether from Samsung or Apple.
Both more compact but also thicker devices with real battery should become more common.
Many peoples want compact devices for many reasons, a ~5" is what many want, some want even smaller.
But there are also many who don't like those ultra slim things, between 10mm and 15mm is the ideal thickness, 12mm being the sweetspot, feel better in the hand, allow larger battery and many more advantages.
The smartphone market really lack diversity.

Its plain and simple. APPLE didn't add 120hz as they had to cheap out on this years batteries due to the added costs of the 5G components!

Keep living in your head all day long.
Next time, no need to brag about your beloved OS on a post that's just about a naming scheme.

"ho ho ho, android is totally king. I totally wish iPhone good luck and totally don't bash them on the stuff they do."
Just an article about an iPhone naming scheme and androiders go crazy. Or a hardcore phone gamer here.
Impatiently waiting for powerful compact device. Tired of huge and heavy 6+ inchers.
