Anonymous, 22 Sep 2020There are phones that just the hardware costs more than $500. How do you expect them to sell... moreNo point in arguing in that cheap guy. He will still argue that the company still make $200 profit even with $500 components cost. That guy won't understand about cost, liability, risk, RnD, etc.
Jay10Jay, 22 Sep 2020Why does Android users take this from manufacturers? No Android phone should cost more than 70... moreThe majority of users don't give a crap about software updates.
899 for the 256GB version ? You lost your damn mind and especially with that trash A series camera design. Damn ... they are becoming more and more crazy. It seems like they are sick of sales and their fans.
Anonymous, 22 Sep 2020what a joke i hope they go fail and go bankrupt soon Oh don't worry its coming
So happy I did not wait for the OnePlus 8t pro as there is no such phone launching.
OnePlus 8t seems disappointing with this price.
I wonder what the pricing would be in India as the much better OP8 pro already available at Rs.55k (approx. 735$) for 8gb/128gb variant.
Jay10Jay, 22 Sep 2020Why does Android users take this from manufacturers? No Android phone should cost more than 70... moreYou get a fair an open ecosystem with many options that you simply don't have on Apple devices. On top of that, there are numerous open source projects that continue to provide updates well past the 5 years, so if you are one of those people that never replace a phone it's really not an issue. OnePlus One still gets the latest LineageOS 17.1, even though the device was launched in 2014.
Crackling Doom, 22 Sep 2020"You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain."Just a bit. At this point Samsung and Apple are back to legitimate price competitiveness, plus they're not a Chinese company with all the geopolitical uncertainty that brings to international purchasers generally and American ones in particular.
Although at this point flagships generally keep getting more and more of a hard sell.
poor one plus,
i still remember they also failed with mid ranged nord. Cracked in its price.

No space enough inside bottom bezel.
Really greatest design technology phones oneplus mobile
But i am waiting for 8 T series
I like oneplus mobile
Bye Bye OnePlus
Steve, 22 Sep 2020It's not a oneplus anymore, it's a hundredplus every year😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great comment to start the day. Good one.
Why does Android users take this from manufacturers? No Android phone should cost more than 700€$£. They only give 2 or in few cases 3 years update. Apple gives 5. So what are we paying that extra money for? Hardware that will become obsolete in a year's time?
what a joke i hope they go fail and go bankrupt soon
Steve, 22 Sep 2020It's not a oneplus anymore, it's a hundredplus every year😂😂😂Hehe, nice one. I still love OP among all other brands
I am here waiting for people to defend oneplus and claim "ThEy ArE sTiLL cHeAPer tHan aPPle!!"
It's not a oneplus anymore, it's a hundredplus every year😂😂😂
what a joke , never settle and prices as high as samsung newest flagships...
Rareart1, 22 Sep 2020Still cheaper than a flagship Samsung.less features, less price. as simple as it is. no microSD slot, no IP rating, no wireless charging. it should be cheaper than it is now. for 1+, less is more. trying to be apple but they aint apple.
