Vidance Stabilization works well, but it crops the video a LOT (resulting smaller FOV and loss of resolution). Also, as it bypasses the phones auto-exposure algo, it often results in seriously underexposed (and sometimes overexposed) videos. So for walking outside in a mixed light setting, it's not the best, real OIS and phone built-in EIS (along with working auto-exposure) is still the better option for best balance of stabilization AND correct exposure.
I really hope that Huawei use Mediateks SoC's and that mediatek continue to ramp up there tech capabilities. They are doing excellent.
