Huawei already makes a line of premium laptop that's very well reviewed so not a big jump here

LG Superfan, 22 Sep 2020Huawei can make Kunpeng but not Kirin? Why is that? They can also use Intel, AMD and Nvidia hardware...
This looks a lot like an enterprise level solution rather than a consumer product

WolfpackN64, 22 Sep 2020Isn't it directly based on Deepin (which is based on Debian Stable, but with newer kernels)Yes, you're right. It appears UOS is an enterprise linux distribution developed by the same people who develops Deepin.

I guess you'll need to look for other doors when one shut.

I had to google UOS. It's a linux operating system based on Debian and the Deepin desktop. So the new PC will be linux based running on an ARM processor. The closest comparison is a raspberry pi.

Breaking news: Because of USA, huawei cannot use Exmor image sensors anymore ...

Please, do not make stupid comment that they may design their own now. Image sensors are not like cpu that one company designs and pay other to manufacturer.

Only cellphone makers with knowledge to create image sensors are Sony, Samsung and Panasonic ....
