No jack, no buy. It doesn't deserve the "Fan Edition" moniker as it doesn't include the 3.5mm port that the majority want for their flagship with their $190 over ear headphones and I mean half a billion. This is more like a Corporate Edition.

Oneplus is sister compaies to oppo and vivo though who are really trying to up manufacturing in india like Xiaomi so i dont think, India will ban a company n cause loss of 1000s of jobs without concrete evidence.

The Indian government has banned many Chinese apps citing security risks but we all know it’s because of recent border tensions with China. But many Chinese apps do pose privacy risks so it’s not completely unfounded. All BBK brands and Xiaomi assemble phones that are sold in India locally in India. So, the Indian government has no problem with that. In fact the Indian government has been urging foreign companies to manufacture more of their products locally. It’s actually the Indian people who are calling for boycott of Chinese phones not the government. But even so all Chinese brands continue to do well in India and everyone here is still buying Chinese phones and will continue to buy them.

I meant to say that S20 FE will be irrelevant within a year and everyone will forget it even exists not that it won’t get updates. Apple maybe does throttle older phones but that is because old phones have degraded batteries that cannot provide the power the cpu demands. What Apple does actually increases the longevity of their devices. I’m still using an iPhone 6S and I’m surprised at how smooth this phone is even after all these years.

Panda eyes, 23 Sep 2020If your not bothered about 5g, the 4g s20 fe will be $100 cheaper then 5g model, so $599It's not a question here only 4G vs 5G model, the main choice is between awful Exynos 990 and very good SD865. Samsung, once again, didn't offer the 5G version (SD865) to all markets. My opinion is that it is unnecessary to buy this model if it come without SD865, in that case it is better to look at S20+.
