HDR = image stacking for still subjects
Phone have both. Just choose what is needed atm.

yuka, 24 Sep 2020Can i use it as TV remote ? just asking ..i was also thinking about that... but lg and some chinese makers have ir blasters... i have it on my lg g4... though im guessing you are trying to "joke" about 21:9 aspect ratio... quite excited how it would feel when my xperia 1 ii arrives, since, except for xz2 compact, almost all of my phones are at 16:9... my nokia 909 even feels a bit wider than that...

Even in their "masterclass" the photos were suffering with weak dynamic range, and had insanely bad color shifting around the sun lmao, dont know when will sony really work on productivity rather on gimicks, sure 20 fps jpegs are cool, but when you want just a simple photo with dynamic range. This phone fails, when you want to take a shot in pitch black darkness, the phone fails, it does nit even have a night mode yet, sony toalked about how PRO the camera is, and still shoots the potraight photos with the main camera, why not the tele cam? It makes photos gorgeous, so plz sony next time do something that makes sense

"Iphone 12 mini" has same design of iphone X.

So it's not just Apple who is preparing a small body and screen smartphone, even Sony is thinking of the same thing. As for Samsung, we just have to wait and see though I doubt if that would happen considering that they have the Galaxy A and Galaxy M series on their disposal for such purpose.

Meanwhile Apple will release soon an Iphone 12 Mini with a 5'4 screen and a normal ratio which seems spot on. No useless gimmicks, easy to handle and fits in the pocket. Something like my aging XZ1C. I'm really not interested by that Xperia 5 II. Perhaps Samsung will follow Apple and release a compact version of their high end smartphones, a S21 mini? Now i'm very interested.

I love how that particular filmmaker uses a clip-on filter. I can definitely see good use of my Beastgrip 3x Tele Conversion Lens on top of the Xperia 5 ii (or 1 ii)'s native telephoto camera for a 9x optical zoom shot.
