L.O.R.D, 27 Sep 2020This phone may or not sell in large numbers but with this, Sony definitely realised what consu... morecorrect. simpletons do not know and / or do not understand that in this (consumer products) business the quality and the market share are a matter of time, almost nobody got it right from the first attempt. usually it takes 2-3 attempts, and a lot of resources...., to get back in the marked if, for whatever reasons, you lost it. and sony has both the financial and technological means to support such an effort.

pretty well balanced phone. excepting the price, of course :). a worthy and affordable competitor to iphone 11 pro and, most likely, to the expected 12 pro. besides the people that enjoy quality and can afford to pay for it, probably a lot of them from the professionals groups, i guess will sell well through carriers. a couple of eur / usd extra per month will not make big diff....
yet waiting for photo sample too see the impact of the missing tof camera, though i do not expect much lost in performance.

The end result will only prove that the so called Sony fans are just talk. When Sony actually delivered the goods, they’re all cheapskates. I’m sure most of these “fans” probably only have some cheap Xiaomi phones.

I've sold my Z3 yesterday. It worked great. I'm happy that Sony is back to game after very long time and many fails.

Nah. They are 68mm wide so finally a one handed phone. But it has a 21:9 screen so it is too long. It means it will be more difficult to balance the phone and the extra screen space you rarely use.
I think these specs would be smart and cost effective:
65mm wide
16:9 screen
pogo pins for charging (to be used with charging docks, magnetic charge cables, cases with battery)
