GSM Boy, 25 Sep 2020and the fact that almost all Americans could not tell a single specification about their phone... moreOh, so you so smart. Can tell one phone to the other.

Android is like a sword. iPhone is like a gun.

You need a life-time training yourself to wield a sword perfectly... only to be taken down by a noob with a gun.

Sure some people may be ignorant about phones, but they sure know the thing they "wield" makes their life better.

Buy iPhone, can buy watch, buy car, buy TV, buy iPad, buy Mac, buy AirPods without worries. Each work with one another flawlessly.

Buy a android phone, you will be worried with watches, Tizen watch (good make, but lousy compatibility).. wear os (good compatibility but lousy makers)
Buy a PC.. need to use Windows ..
Buy a car.. no choice get one of those phone holders.. integration to android auto is lousy.. sometimes works sometimes no. Burns thru GPS like no others, even when plugged in (Because Android have giant batteries that need 65W to run LOL.. poor 12V battery have to support these major drainers). Unlike wireless CarPlay.. auto detect. not even need to take out of pockets.

So people trust iPhone in USA. Because it works, no worries.

And i say "iPhone" I do not even need to worry about what model. Because all iPhones in 5 yrs all get upgrades and updates.

Let's face it. Americans only have Apple or Samsung when it comes to smartphone choices.

I saw this youtube video about giving away free iPhone 11 and note 20's. The presenter is asking them what phone they would choose to have and why. I think out of the 10 people , only 1 kid asked to get the Samsung. ... and nobody was able to provide why Iphones is much superior to the Samsung note, hahaha.

It might be fascinating for you, yes, but it makes perfect sense in the type of market the U.S is, almost all people who gets an expensive device, does it by upgrading/trading an old device, and, the competition is really fierce, as REAL private companies must entice customers to get the newer devices, and they do so, by installment plans, very few people pay the +1000.00 prices that these devices are tagged, the U.S is the country where is easier to have an expensive device, the only caveat is, of course signing a cotract with a major carrier, typically 2 years long

Well, how many models sells Samsung and how many Apple?
Then look at the market share numbers.

I know, Apple is still many times more profitable, because it sells more of more expensive phones, but totally, it still sells less phones.

What a shame when your newly released flagship is crashed by three phones that released a year ago.

It's fascinating that in a recession and unemployment spike, Americans are apparently still buying ridiculously expensive and poor value phones more than even standard flagships. See: s20U outselling any other android, and 11 pro max outselling 11 pro
