Beter contrast, brighter, more power efficient, deep beautiful black, better viewing angle. I know deep down you know it's true.

Why should companies keep developing oled?
When it is literally at a dead end?
Why waste R&D to try and prevent an ORGANIC display from decaying do you understand how near impossible that is to fix? We can't even prevent ageing of our own organic skin to begin with
Unlike LCD all the mentioned flaws are fixable.. ghosting , backlight bleeding are all fixable with local dimming etc this is why LCD is worth the development
You even went as far as implying that dead pixel is only for LCD when it's more prominent for OLED because of that same organic limitation...

Oled problem is brightness, burn-in and color volume. Dual layer LCD with infrared backlight and QDCF would destroy OLED. The problem has been moving the polarorizer inside the Color Filter encapsulation which Samsung Display and Nanosys have solved, but the problem it for their upcoming QD-OLED is brightness and color accuracy. The problem for both techs is micro-led or a pure RGB QD-LED will eventually be cheaper.

" no LCD display will have true black, since all of them use backlight"
This implies that INHERENTLY no matter what because of backlight application LCD will never have true blacks
Which I highlighted as false by showing an application where the backlight CAN display true blacks
Which means the problem is the DENSITY of the backlight chosen and not backlight technology itself

You say it's not a backlight problem, then you say it's because low resolution backlight. So it is a backlight problem, that only a better backlight can fix! Or you could just go OLED and forget about backlight in the first place. Then go microLED and forget about organic materials that can cause burn-in. Problem solved.
