I have bought 2 nokia mobiles. One for myself and other for my dad. I had no issues with any of the two handsets. Though initial launch Price was premium, Nokia's software updates are best in the industry.
I am satisfied with Nokia 7 plus. Even though I try other smartphones, i miss my Nokia 7 plus and i return to it. Nokia 7 plus powered by SD 660 soc is not meant for serious gamers. But it is very good for any day to day task. The LCD panel in Nokia is great ( i have had bitter experience with other chinese brands display turning into yellow due to pixel burns). Even after 2 years Nokia's display is stunning. Though the display is not Amoled, but picture quality is not far behind the quality of amoled display.
Best part is camera. Nokia's 12mp f/1.8 rear camera takes great shots during day light. But for low night pictures you will have to got pro mode for better results.Today though market is flooded with 48mp and 64 mp phones. But they do not bring much value except for little additional details in pictures. Those details get lost while sharing the picture in social media.
3.5.mm earphones that came out of the box are great even after 2 years. Bass is decent.
In short, if you have a Nokia 7 plus, you need not buy a new phone, unless you want a flagship experience.

And a total it costs 12k. ?

I purchased this Nokia 7 plus in 2018 from Kuwait, and having problem of charging and broken front screen, paid much for repair in India Nokia Service center, I feel poor material quality and having problem of softwares itself too. I am thinking to take out from Nokia loving since long time, the problem is low quality in materials and software troubles.

I love this phone it's just awesome it's been almost 3 years using this fantastic smartphone . Eagerly waiting for the Android 11 and all necessary updates which makes this smartphone more powerful. Can we get a same design in all Nokia 7 series as this one is toughest compared to any nokia mobile out there's.

Anonymous, 27 Sep 2020Me too. Am on third charging port.I'm just sick and tired of my 7+ my charge port failed the first week I bought the phone, it was replaced, then failed 3 weeks later.
I'm now on my 3rd port and this one failed in the second week.

Earlier this week when there was an article on Nokia 7.3 in GSMArena, 80% users had mentioned it as Overpriced. Now where are all those users who were criticizing Nokia? Two and half year old phone is getting OS update. How many phones released at that time gets so much attention and care from other brands? Nokia charges more over other brands but, at least, they provide excellent software support for all their phones from low end to flagships.

When the Nokia 7 plus came out in 2018 I wasn't even interested in it because of the multitude of other brands having cheaper phones with better specs. To be truthful I've read good things about this phone and it's one of the few non-Chinese brands out there (personal choice). But when they slashed the price by half then I grabbed it at once. So after 2 years of using it here's my thoughts: It's a solidly built phone just by it's weight alone. Dropped it a few times but still no scratch. Unless you're a gamer then the specs are good enough. Got my 2 android updates on time as promised with monthly security patches regularly. Luckily never had any usb port problem (could've been a bad batch for others?). Battery life lasts me a day and a half with normal usage. The only fault I find with it is the screen brightness which is not bright enough for me. So I'm going to be using this phone til I stop receiving my security updates.

Yet again. Our customers aren't happy. It seems like every 6 months or so every unit has to be repaired again for the very same fault. Just horrible component/build quality, most definitely designed to fail before the warranty period is full. One way of keeping people employed at repair centers.
