Don Hrle, 30 Sep 202060hz screens in borderline 2021. are like flying the bi-planes in the modern battlefields. I have a 90hz display phone. The wow effect lasted for about 2 weeks. After you get used to it, is the same thing. Your eyes and mind just adapt to it.
And I am pretty sure is the same with 120hz or 144hz displays.

Please stop crying about sd storage or 3.5mm jack. Just get 256gb version and use adapter or wireless earphones...
The real draw-back should no IP68 as your hardly earned money can simply melt as a candy in the rain...
Off course if there is no led notification in par with lcd display - it's a pain in the ass...
By the way - it looks already as a joke when they are talking about their mega hyper 8K cameras while still no OIS/EIS on selfie camera...
Can't decide if I should wait for mi 10T reviews or grab a S20 FE 4G for 600eur this evening to still get freebies from Samsung. Please, help me decide guys...

Quite an average phone... biggest drawback is no expandable memory and a fairly low max memory storage option available. An average flagship that will struggle in an already crowded market place. There are simply other better phones to spend one's hard earned cash on.

IPS or OLED, 30 Sep 2020The primary motivation behind Mi10T Series is to extend the Mi 10 Series to a user community w... moreXiaomi is not interested in offering a lower-priced real alternative to its original Mi 10 Series. Xiaomi's flagship pricing policy is set and there is no going back. Xiaomi will block all routes, direct and indirect, to a discounted version of its Flagship. For the Mi 10T series, Xiaomi is interested in offering something that will extend the user population but will not be easily comparable to any of the current members of Mi 10 Series. In other words, Xiaomi wants a cousin for its Mi 10 Series, not a real sibling under the same roof.

Had an AMOLED display been chosen, instead of an IPS, Xiaomi would have to use a high-end 120Hz AMOLED screen to make it worthy of a Mi-branded flagship, and that would also limit the pricing flexibility and the choice of sub-systems.

A Mi 10T series with an AMOLED display will serves no useful purpose and therefore has no place in Xiaomi's Mi 10 lineup for 2020.

The primary motivation behind Mi10T Series is to extend the Mi 10 Series to a user community where IPS is preferred over AMOLED (OLED). Mi10T Series is not intended to provide a lower-priced alternative to the original Mi 10 Series, or to compete against the other members in the original Mi 10 Series. The motivation behind Mi10T series is entirely different from that of Samsung Galaxy S20 FE series.

The single most strategically important decision Xiaomi has made for Mi10T Series is the choice of IPS, which defines what Mi10T series is and what Mi10T series is intended for. Xiaomi is not worried about all the AMOLED-loving users because Mi10T series is never intended for those users in the first place. Mi10T Series should sell well, especially in Xiaomi's domestic market where tens of millions users are looking for a proper flagship (or a near-flagship) with an IPS display.

The lack of a telephoto cam makes this a non-buy for me. Using the Mi 9 (which I am very happy with) I found that I take pictures with the tele even more often that with the standard cam. Not for any useless zoom sheananigans - just to take more focused, cinematic shots with a narrower field of view.
