AnonD-954200, 01 Oct 20206" is small now?😒yes due to the long aspect ratio
Anonymous, 01 Oct 2020You... WANT a glass back? Yeah, I also find that surprising. It's like wanting a 2MP macro camera.
I've never broken a glass back but they pretty much force me to have a cover on at all times. I've never had any issues with the old-style iPhones or the Galaxy S5, without a cover.
Yes, my phones take a drop a few times per year - handgloves, bicycle, pushing it off the desk, all these things can happen. The glass back is just one more thing to go wrong in such an event and I don't see it bringing ANY advantage.
Other than bringing back aluminium body, nothing special.
I do like aluminium body very much though, may get one when it's dirt cheap
Lol what overpriced and underpowered phones. Xiaomi alone eats these for lunch. LOL Google, rly?
How come pixel 5 is smaller than 4a? It should be bigger n better since you are not launching the XL model. Very similar spec on both. In marketing wise it might not work.
There could be two reasons why Google do these type of thing either they think they can pull out an apple on people or they understand and know the customers need but ignore them relentlessly
Here is what Google should have done-
1-The 4a 5g should have been 5 with headphone jack and without wirless charging and keep everything else same with the price of $500.
2-They could had added a headphone jack,a telephoto camera with better main and ultrawide cameras, better looking camera design with SD 865 or 865+ with a price of $700.
I just want to meet the Head of their cellphone Department. He don't know anything about customers satisfaction or how the cellphone world work!!!
Misanthropic1349, 30 Sep 2020Wow now even the Nokia 8.3 5G looks like a great device option as compared to the Pixel 5. I don't think so the 8.3 is still the king of overpriced phones at least this pixel got some standout features for a midranger like wireless and reverse wirless charging ip 68 rating stereo speakers and I think cameras gonna be better too compared to 8.3
Anonymous, 30 Sep 2020Which chipset is sd 775?It's an upcoming Snapdragon chipset
ZTE Axon 20 5G blows both of this out of the water with a single fart spec-wise (need I also mention its under display front cam?) except for maybe the back camera and stock Android.
And price-wise a Redmi K30 Pro properly gives these a salmon sized fish slap then even worse, a few months from now the markdowns can even score you an Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition easily.
A pity really because I just don't see what's the win here for Pixels 2020. Pixels are no more the proper legacy of what Nexus set out to be.
Dont know what to say.
Specs, design, price. All are just mehh.
L.O.R.D, 01 Oct 2020The battery isn't extra ordinary either, maybe for a pixel phone but other than that it h... moreDont justify battery life with battery size
For example, Xperia 5 ii has better battery life than ALL SAMSUNG FLAGSHIP this year, even with 120hz enabled
Pixel 4A = $349
Pixel 4A 5G = $499
Pixel 5 = $699
It was expected that the Pixel 5 would be at that pricing and have normal specs based on previous leaks. What was not expected was the release of S20 FE 5G, which is better in almost every single aspect compared to the Pixel 5 at the SAME price or even CHEAPER. There's also Oneplus 8. They claim the S865 was too expensive to implement but pricing still isn't justified for what it offers while the 4A has more value for money. However, one of the few good reasons to pick this year's Google phones is the compact body which is rare nowadays.
Pixel 5 mostly seem fine.. Waiting for review.
But one thing for sure, google messed up the naming of their pixel lineup... Just called the 4a 5g the pixel 5xl..
Drop some feature, drop the price of pixel 5 to $550/$600.. And push the 4a 5g aka 5xl to $650/$700 price bracket with same build material & quality as normal p5..
Cmon google.. Just stick to simple formula like other oem.. Dont make customers confused with your greediness.. From what i see, they try to push hard on pixel 5 sales.
