What is the point of this apart from promoting a problematic review site?
It's the same as a PC reviewer using userbenchmark for CPU comparisons.
Why not do your own review instead of doing a 10 minute article?

It just puts too much emphasis on camera specs rather than camera quality. At least that is my opinion.
Chinese companies put more emphasis on specs, therefore they score higher.

Anonymous, 01 Oct 2020These analysis is meaningless as dxomark is not longer a good source for camera ranking anymore. I stop using that site for any sort of reference after 2012 The reviews for the Nokia range where so bias! Yes, their OS was bad! And Yes, there were insanely expensive! But the photo quality was the best! Was this site rating based on camera? or OS? or price? Or purely based on whoever is paying them to review!

We have a fairly clear view how the best 2020 smartphone cameras are tiered:
- Xiaomi (Mi 10 Ultra), Huawei (P40 Pro, P40 Pro+), and Vivo (X50 Pro+) are clearly in the lead that defines the Tier-1 smartphone cameras;
- The best of the rest competing for a slot in Tier-2. We have Oppo (Find X2 Pro) and Honor (Honor 30 Pro+) in the lead in Tier-2, the best of Samsung (Note 20 Ultra) will fight for a slot here.
- The best of Sony (Xperia 1 II) is not quite up to the standard of Tier-2, will have to settle for a slot in Tier-3.
- Other known brands such as LG and ASUS are part of the large lot of also-rans, to be avoided if a smartphone camera is important to you.
