This is not a Fan Edition This is Exynos Edition

Samsung tricked indians with Exynos processor again so seems they are not taking indian market seriously. As 5G phones are trending with other flagship brands but samsung is working on their benifits.

Dan, 04 Oct 2020as a fan like you of the 3.5 headphone jack. you gotta move on man. almost every phone right ... moreThis is not moving forward. There's amazing wired earphones out there with great quality. This is simply money grabbing. Dispensing with a feature that could easily be included simply to be able to cross sell own brand manufacturer airbuds and airpods etc. Don't fool yourself into thinking that this is a move in the interest of consumers. It's purely exploiting another opportunity to empty your pocket.

X41, 05 Oct 2020Specs are good Design looks like a $99 phonePersonally the design look's fine, a bit understated and plain. I don't like the silver rim around the punch hole on the display, makes it stand out even more.

almost every phone right now shifts to non headphone jack. that what tech does.
and i also like you hate wireless headphones. i aint got none of them. only wire one.

but you guys need to stop bragging about it already. the world is moving forward each year and so should y'all.
even tho those company make tons of money of the wireless budes and all the replicates of it.
                          truth hurts.

I also went ahead to buy a few more of Zenfones which worked well for the price and had some extra features built into the UI. While their recent flagships have scored well, I'm not really a fan of that flip up camera but rest of the features are great. The reason I'm going for the G8 is that Dual Screen case which is something fancy and also improves gaming by far. And then there's 3.5 mm jack with Quad DAC audio and low latency bluetooth which is important to gamers. The SD card slot can be used to store media while the internal storage will be taken up by the games so that's an added advantage

L.O.R.D, 04 Oct 2020I'll be probably getting that G8x Dual Screen, only in case I'm fortunate enough to ... moreAsus is kind of (You'll see while reading further) really trying to make good devices especially with the latest Zenfone's and ROG series and software updates are much more guaranteed vs LG though LG G8 has a microsd slot and a 3.5mm jack and I could let the omission of the jack slide by and get a dongle but no microsd is a no-no like what is Asus thinking when they are a electronics hardware company focused on specs...

and if I were to choose either or it would be neither lol - I'd rather wait for whatever new thing they make next to see if they learnt their lesson by me not emptying my wallet.

The 5g version really resemblances of how Poco F1 was out years ago: flagship chipset in a plastic back cover phone, though it has kevlar edition, but I doubt everyone can get has on that. The point is: it was the proper flagship killer that everyone wants. Now Samsung try to repeat the idea. Let's see if it works.

I'm using it for over 3 years now, but I feel the need to get a new phone just for the sake of pleasing my eyes.
Aa much as we use nowadays our phones, for most of us, I think it's impossible to hang on to a phone for 4 or 5 years. Not happy though about the flagship prices for the new midrange phones. I payed $700 for my S8...(not like the Galaxy S20 FE wouldn't be a better phone by any means compared to the S8, but still!!!)

Samsung should have provided the 3.5 mm jack atleast because people are not getting the 865 variant so the jack would have helped... everything else are okayish or atleast they should lower the Exynos ones price as it is not the best performer...
