Anonymous, 04 Oct 2020So bye to s20 (so called) fan edition from my side. It's costly in India 51k=695$ fr Exy... moreI'll be probably getting that G8x Dual Screen, only in case I'm fortunate enough to be able to buy it before it runs out, but also waiting for Asus reveals, since the 6Z could be going for just $350 I guess, not bad for a 2019 flagship phone with that flip up camera. If not, there's always the Samsung A50s that'll be up at great price. Waiting for more reveals

Anonymous, 04 Oct 2020The 5G variant is the snapdragon globallyThat is true, but what about those regions with only 4g variants, and original S20 exynos variants, its like saying don't bother with Samsung anymore, go look elsewhere, I really had high hopes since S10 Lite was available earlier with SD no less and now this little fluff of stuff

Had the S20 FE got a 3.5mm Jack and global Snapdragon model, it would have had an even bigger success, to the point where if it didn't had the punch hole, despite not being a fan of Samsung devices at all, I would probably have bought it.

So bye to s20 (so called) fan edition from my side.
It's costly in India 51k=695$ fr Exynos 990 and Oneplus 8 pro costs 55k=740$. Even Flipkart big billion days and Amazon great indian sales are gonna start from next week.. so one will get op 8pro fr less than 700$ and they've already revealed some of the deals.. e.g. lg g8x dual screen will be on sale for just 272$. And many more devices are gonna launch too. Even Rog 3(not fr me) with 865+ costs lesser than s20 f@#₹ edition with just 15w charger in d box, bloated software, gg3+plasticy and imptly 990.
Can't live on 120hz screen with laggynos 990. iPhone 12 series will be launching in next week.

In the real world, an average buyer would obviously prefer a "5G" SD 865 over a "4G" Exynos 990 because they want to future-proof themselves for the next 3-4 years with 5G connectivity, specially when they are spending over $ 500.
However, if it had been 5G Exynos 990 vs 5G SD 865, outside of this site, a layperson doesn't care if its Exynos or SD as evident by the sale of Note 20 Ultra in the regions that got Exynos 990 5G.

Exynos model is not too expensive, but outright garbage with 120Hz screen. SD version is more worthy despite a high price tag. Samsung could have easily slapped a SD855+ in the 4G version.
