"Google Play Pass costs 4,99 € per month and 29,99 € per year, and family managers can share access with up to 5 other family members."
I don't play on my phone either (have Steam on the PC for that). But If you can share this Game service to the whole Family, for a price of just 30€/year. It's a good deal, for families that like to play mobile games without getting bombarded with Ads. There is definitely a market for that.

Pay 5EUR per month to play mobile games. Which are as dull and boring as can be. Maybe 1% of them are worth it. And you can easily pay separate that 1% of them.
Xbox Game Pass for PC/Xbox cost 10EUR each. And you can play real complex games.
Or PsNow from Sony, if you like PS. 10EUR per month. And you have around 800 titles there (PS2, PS3 and PS4 games). Of course, is a streaming service, but a lot of games (especially the PS4 games) can be downloaded and play locally on your console.
Services like Apple Arcade or Google Play Pass are not worth the money. Majority of mobile games are linear. Yeah, they have good graphics, but that's about it.
