Doesn't make a difference, as processing on the 4a's front camera is shockingly bad even without retouching! Soft, smoothened, and mushy like Samsung's selfie processing. Might send it back unless I can find a GCam mod that fixes it. Really disappointing.

You definitely need help if you shooting everything through beautification filters. This is degradation of already shaky sociaty and these things should be banned

My Xiaomi may have great hardware, but the software is crap. The camera app overprocesses, makes the colors crazy unnatural and tacky, and it smudges everything, killing detail.
If it wasn't for GCam, I would have thrown the phone away.
Google and Apple do photography far, far better.

Changing brown skin colors to more 'white' , natural human skin texture to porcelain smooth, subtle increase in eye size to achieve 'the ideal feminine' look, fake pinkish glow on the cheeks; is a completely different thing and is quite harmful to the thinking of young minds & that is what camera filters on OPPO phones & the bunch do.

They love to put stuff like makeup on their faces and you don't have to force them at all, plus face painting are usually full on any "kids events".

I think only people that don't want to lo... moreWhat else can we expect from you, other than defending this degrading trend started by your favourite BBK companies & Xiaomi ?..FYI Kids & little girls do not put on makeup but do use selfie cameras from their parents' phones & these filters introduce them to an ideal skin color/tone, texture & smoothness set by the companies, which will affect them for their whole life.
Teenage boys also have skin & acne issues, which do not apply makeup, but these filters set an unrealistic standards, often forcing them to take drastic steps like harmful unproven skin treatments or even plastic surgery..

In my book that's still the sexiest thing. It's a huge turn off when people try to look younger, more beautiful, cooler etc., than what they are.

These filters are bad. ppl post photos with bizarre filters. Bruh your skin aint smooth and plain like that. Imagine I put my photos with lots of filters, start using tinder, using instagram to flert... then i get a date, imagine the person meets me and discover i have oily skin, some pimples, marks, etc... would waste her time and mine. STOP USING FILTERS. Just show how you are, you will find somebody that will find you atractive, dont post something youre not. If you REALLY dont like some characteristics, then go a dermatologist or something like that.
