zodiacfml, 04 Oct 2020Yeah. Looks like Nvidia intended the low RAM capacity so that users upgrade again in 2-3 years... moreIt's ok but not really logical when upgrading from a 6GB card. Sure, VRAM isn't the only factor but still, one would think that a higher end card would come with atleast 10GB nowadays.

Looks like Nvidia intended the low RAM capacity so that users upgrade again in 2-3 years. 8GB is just good enough for 4k gaming on AAA titles (medium/high settings) right now.

Nice Guy, 03 Oct 20203070ti would definitely have more vram but for gddr6x again gddr6, this isn't a issue..GDDR6 vs GDDR6X is an issue. Fact. X version runs hotter and is the reason for recent exclusion. Do your homework before sharing you own opinion which is wrong.

This cannot be argued because is proven in testing. Intel drivers are some of the longest existing and most tested than AMD drivers. So stop chatting fanboi rubbish. Hypocrite.

The reason I mentioned CPU is because you claimed Intel more stable in another comment. I have had more driver issues with my GTX 1060 than I had with the R9 280x. Ever heard about the brand new RTX 3080 crashing? No? Maybe stop covering your eyes and ears.

And I plan on keeping the card for about five years minimum so the more VRAM the better.

VRAM speed, GPU clock speed, bus width, stream processors/CUDA cores, all that must be taken into account when considering a graphics card. Software also matters.

YUKI93, 03 Oct 2020I'm definitely waiting to see AMD's response to Nvidia Ampere graphic cards.probably won't be top performance around 3070 3080 but it'll undercut the 3080 3070 in price thats what they planning if they ant complete full on performance
