If Face ID is here to stay, there is no way to get rid of the notch.
It could me smaller but it would be there.
The only solution is to bring back Touch ID and put it underscreen, which is technically possible already.

Android just offers deep customization and further tinkering ability in addition to it.
Nobody has to tinker their Android phones to make it work flawlessly out of the box unless they are under 50$.

Why though Just Change your name to I like apple and I hate android I this point because it's exactly what your doing. In my experience I have used both apple and android and I can say that apple is for people who like their phones functioning out of the box and Android is for people who like tinkering their phones. In my preference I choose both they are both good in their own ways and have their pros and cons. And your point you're saying apple is better untouched than android is right? That means you don't like customizing and tinkering your phone the way you want it. You just want it plain? Android is for people that like tinkering their phones and Iphones are for people that like their phones functioning plain out of the box.
Anonymous, 09 Oct 2020What I meant is that despite paying 1000 plus dollars, iOS users have to beg for new things. ... more''dream'' of, I really don't know anyone who had to beg for those, yes there might be some, but it isn't like iPhone users are forced to buy iPhones, most people I know use iPhones because they simply like it, here in Ireland majority of people use iPhone, not because they are forced to use it, because it us always more practical than android, maybe american iPhone users are what you call sheeps, but here it just makes sense to use an iPhone. All our schools use iPad, because it makes sense, no one here begs for something new, if we want we just move to android.

OnePlus 8 pro is ahead in every department.
Lame iPhone can't match it.
I personally upgraded from iPhone 11 pro Max to OP8 Pro.
Never looked back again. Best part is that, it cost me half the price of the iPhone.
Only brand logo frrreakss will stoop down to blindly support iPhone.
Never downgrading myself to pedestrian 60hz or restrictive iOS ever again.
Anonymous, 09 Oct 2020So you bring up Oneplus 8 Pro.. a phone that have more then 6 mth ahead of iPhone (other then ... moreIPhone doesn't make up with 120hz touch sampling rate.
Even budget Android flagships have 240hz sampling rate.
IPhone is simply outdated in terms of hardware and software, Take that L and stop embarrassing yourself.

It's really different to build 100 million phones with new tech than million. Just saying. They have to have someone to build all those parts.
Like the under display camera with Samsung
Galaxy S21 Skip the Under-Screen Camera
"One reason why an under-screen camera won't be a part of the configuration is due to mass production problems, resulting in low yields, .."

Apple needed 8 years after that to launch their first phone with LED screen. By the time Apple supposedly "perfect" their under display tech, foldable Androids may very well be mainstream.
Drx, 08 Oct 2020ok then I will be more specific My oneplus 8 Pro has:
-much more ram
-faster ... moreSo you bring up Oneplus 8 Pro.. a phone that have more then 6 mth ahead of iPhone (other then SE) released to date, and start bashing about those features? Fine, look at iPhone 11 Max Pro.
Storage.. are you sure? You have a 512GB Oneplus pro? Have you seen the ram speed vs iPhones? Oneplus 8 pro is a huge phone, have you compare the battery life and consumption with the iPhone Pro Max series (same size category)? iPhone normally have great web browsing and video consumption compared to calling, look at the sub section of the battery endurance between One Plus Pro 8 vs iP11maxpro. Speakers... seriously?
What cool apps? Better performance... you sure?
Sure iPhone now lags 120hz screen, but it does make up with the 120hz touch sensing, which makes the UI more snappier and responsive vs most flagship androids.
So like i say, no android 2020 manage to completely destroy iPhones 2019.. Nor did iPhone 2019 win in all categories vs ALL android phones put together. Thats why the reviews are the same year after year, one of the top of the line flagships.. iPhones will always be place there.

You'll be lucky if it comes next year. Until then keep begging.
High refresh rate has existed on Android phones since 2017.
They have been standard on flagships from 2019.
Stainless steel of iPhone, lol ANDROID Phones are coming with titanium build.
iOS looks ugly, bland and boring.
Look at iBoyzz going crazy on the Internet sharing their home screens.
Their newfound yet handicapped ability to customize is keeping their time busy.
It's like a person denied for a decade, finally gets to eat pizza.
IOS will always have inferior customization compared to Android.

Your beloved Non fragmented iOS has way more app crashes compared to Android.
Battery consumption for these apps is also high.
IPhone doesn't Even have best endurance among 60hz phones.
Fast charging is Ancient.

Better design is subjective, personally the frosted back and stainless steel of iPhone is unmatched by any Android. Customization is cool when you actually need to customize, iOS already looks good unlike untouched Android.

Why? because it's actually a good, non-fragmented OS. Better battery life? Please go read up on the 11 Pro Max's battery endurance. Better screens? Samsung, literally the best display manufacturer on the planet, sources the iPhone displays. My god you Android fanboys have thick heads.
AnonD-920478, 08 Oct 2020We got custom roms, folding phones and ability to run linux shell. CiaoGood for you! I have a job and a life so these things are truly inconsequential. "Run linux shells" on my phone lmao
Rk100, 08 Oct 2020The irony here tho, you say beggars, yet most iphones cost 800 euros plus. What I meant is that despite paying 1000 plus dollars, iOS users have to beg for new things.
Historically, they have had to Beg for fast charging, Beg for Bigger screen. Beg for IP68 rating, beg for multiple cameras, beg for new designs.
Android users don't have to do this, we get things that iOS users can only dream of.
Anonymous, 08 Oct 2020Best selling iPhones are XR and SE, they combined cost less than $800. LOL.Yes dollors, but here in Europe shit is expensive, also forget the iphone 11 series exists??
Wily2020, 08 Oct 2020” Best selling iPhones are XR and SE, they combined cost less than $800. LOL.”
What? :) did... moreLook at the difference between sales of iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 pro Max, it's clear people are preferring the cheaper model.
Even this year, the 5.4 inch model and iPhone 12 (6.1" model) will sell way more than the expensive iPhone 12 pro Max.
