There is a lot of things more to consider when you bought a pixel phone than the processor. I will replace my pixel 2 with a pixel 4. The pixel 2 is a three years old phone with Android 11 installed and monthly security patches and also new features that google added (ad example Night mode picture was not included from the beginning on Pixel 2). Do you think the S20 FE will update to android 12? Also in Europe you have a free Bose QC35 II headphones buying it....

Subjectively. It's also the most limited flagship phones camera wise, and really only good pictures if you like the HDR+ style over saturated over sharpened look.

Upcoming iPhone 12 or current S20 FE (5G) and Mi 10T wipes the Pixel 5. Pixels also have poor QC. What's up with the battery bulge?

Tried the Pixel 4a demo set. It is just too small for my liking. Text readability is difficult for me.

Google, the mid tier is an even more crowded market segment than the top...765SD and general downgrades is not going to make you relevant. You should be competing with Apple at the top table, you have the money after all. If Google were to make a top end phone matching the quality of Huawei or Sammy, for example, it would be game over for the other OEMs

Every tech reviewer is essentially a geek/nerd and thats why pixel phones get soooooooo much attention by reviewers. No other company with soo little sales gets this much coverage. And their design team is just all over the place, every year is a different kind of failure. The pixel 1 was the ugliest phone ever imo

i won't be surprised if Google cancels the entire pixel lineup in the future... if it didn't have such a good camera the pixel would have been gone already...
google has no idea what they're doing when it comes to hardware...

We get faster updates, more control over what we don't want on our phones as well as how things look. If you want simple and flashy, buy a skinned phone or an iPhone. If you want more control, buy a stock Android.

Try getting a broken Pixel repaired in Europe. The merry go round I went through before giving up and repairing it myself has contrasted starkly to my families experience of repairs with Apple. This has led me to looking at Apple for my next phone. Warranty support from Google sucks ass!

I think the Pixel 5 will sell very well. It might not have come out well in this poll but of course this is a nerds site , people who follow latest smartphone trends and actually know what version of Android their phone runs. For the great public this phone will be seen as a great choice.

Let's face it. Pixels are great in two things only, stock android and the camera. The phones have terrible QC, they die due to hardware defects. And it's been happening since long time too from way back in Nexus 5 times. Google need to take care of that first and foremost.
Pixels offer the best stock android experience, that along with the best camera for still photography do some value as those are two most important factors while considering a phone but their after sales support, as in supporting the devices in terms of hardware in long term (battery change and other accessories) and that QC which I mentioned above need to be taken care of at once. Then only we can go for pixels, specs do not matter, the experience the pixels give out is better than all other skinned UI.

That is why it costs more than 4a 5G.

Maybe this country it's where there are more smartphone sales in allí Europe. Goolge take my money!!!!!!
