I think the only way huawei will lift the ban is to sell the company to US? I think nothing will happen if huawei is US company. That's the fact. No need proof.

Also companies in the West receive subsidies - just ask Boeing and Airbus. As for the other charges it says its is clear... Then show us the proof.

Technically all businesses in China can't operate without being under control of their government (with a party member in its high management). So you could say that Huawei IS the Chinese government, as is any business operating within China.

CommonSense, 09 Oct 2020“ridiculously low price point.” So UK government expect us to spend $800-$1000 on all "... moreI think they're referring to 5G equipment but, even then, why are they so concerned by cheap 5G? Is cheap 5G really a security issue?

Well, logical, after UK quiting EU soon, they cannot be enemies with EU & USA together :) And not accusing Huawei is direct enemy to USA as you all know :)

Be so eager to defend a corporation which had its representative threaten Canada, just because you can't go a few months without buying another phone.

Have some self respect.

Even if it is true they received money from the Chinese government, 5G is a new technology in which they are industry leaders so who did they copy it from? All you can really say is that the money was plowed into their R&D to develop new technologies.

There is no evidence the Chinese government has asked for anything in return.
