Anonymous, 11 Oct 2020I never owned a MIUI device but i know for sure it is garbage with all the ads and so on. ... moreYou have got to be kidding me... stock android ads ? stop inveting stuff to make the stock android experience look bad. Ok ads can be turned, i close my eyes to this type of stuff, but the way miui is organized is just simply not cool. Found battery optimizations under Security ? for real now ? put all the battery related stuff in battery and other stuff in their own categories... oh and one more thing... who the hell puts battery graph to be in 24 hour only ? Had miui and was very interested to see the full battery usage from 100% down to when i planed to charge the phone and guess what... the rest of the phone usage wasn't there. And yes, miui is bloated and has ads and some users do like to have a "clean" experience out of the box... not starting to looking up google on "how to remove bload, how to remove ads, how to... etc".

Camera bump seems huge + in-box case not resolving. How do you feel about that?

MEMC, how bad's that, and is it in use when switched to fixed refresh rate as well?

If you find a time to drop reply some time...thx

iOS Never Again, 12 Oct 2020Did you Even read the review about the screen before jumping to conclusions like "No AMOL... moreYes, actually. And while the 144hz refresh certainly appeals to me, reviews specifically stated that black levels and contrast are close to AMOLED levels, but not quite there. And those black levels are quite important to me. There's nothing wrong with the Mi 10T or Pro display... I'll just wait for exactly what I want for the kind of money involved in a new phone. And I'm a big fan of Xiaomi... my Mi 9T Pro is still one heck of a phone. I'm just looking for a very specific set of features; flat AMOLED display, high refresh, really good rear camera, preferably a front pop-up camera. It's a bit of a unicorn, but I'm sure Xiaomi/Poco will release such a handset at some point soon, and I can certainly wait.

I'll not go for Snapdragon 865 cos it over heat ! But Deminsity 830 ( Mi 10X 5g) do not have such problems in hot country.

Anonymous, 12 Oct 2020I hope Mi 10T lite does not have screen ghosting (slow response time)dude im not sure about this but I think it is because of the IPS LCD.. It can't keep up with 120 or high refresh rates.

Duderino, 11 Oct 2020Pricing is downright r etarded. What is Xiaomi smoking? I can get a K30 Ultra for 300 euro and... morei swear, people advocating chinese market phones as alternatives to eu models are the worst.

Anonymous, 11 Oct 2020I never owned a MIUI device but i know for sure it is garbage with all the ads and so on. ... moreI have Xiaomi Redmi note 7 and I'll never go back to apple.

In general, apple stopped innovating and just kept making few bits and pieces feature additions.
In addition to that, they force users to buy new phones by making them run slower after a year or so through updates.

I never encountered this with mi Xiaomi. Xiaomi watched everybody else, took notes on what they did right and what they did wrong.

Essentially conducting the type of research that Toyota did when launching the Lexus brand. Mark my words, Apple is finished in the cell phone market if they don't restructure and do what Xiaomi did.

Look at Lexus. Now they build the benchmark of excellence in luxury cars. That's Xiaomi in a few years. Those who don't innovate eventually become exhaust fumes of the industry they once dominated.

Fair price Would be around 40k considering that Mi 10 is priced at 50k.

Yes ,but they should give us amoled display is far better and regular update as xiaomi is slow with update and also improve in ram management as xiaomi have history of having poor ram management in most of thier devices .

Xiaomi phones are great, but I like my Android a bit more pure and I would love to see more compact high end phones, and affordable ones too of course.

Do you know that you can 1) disable ads, 2) remove unwanted system apps with ADB, 3) flash a ROM like Pixel Experience.

Even if you spend more than $300 on a Xiaomi phone (assuming it's not up to 700+ where btr alternatives are present), it still has btr value than its competitors. You get a btr chipset, screen, build and cameras (which can be improved with Gcam)

Just compare them with phones from Samsung (esp the ones with shitty Exynos chipsets like the Exynos 9611 that Samsung keeps spamming on their A and M series phones) or Apple (which only budget phone option is iPhone SE with a pathetic battery size) or Oppo and Vivo (phones at the midrange price with much less powerful hardware) or even Google (jus look at the Pixel 4a 5G/5).

And when one of the other makers actually put together a value proposition - as you say, S20 FE 5G is that - it really does make it hard to justify getting a Xiaomi or Oppo (I suppose OnePlus still has the Oxygen OS edge).
