The symmetric front bezels is an attention to detail that most Android manufacturers ignore.
That will come at a steep price I'm sure. Then again, this isn't a mid range offering

There is always some downside to thick phone.
I say make it normal size or a bit thicker and put bigger battery or some other hardware inside.
