Aahhh, Galaxy S5 - I feel you. Why is the customer not king anymore? Let's stay all together and ban the industry for ignoring our needs. Don't be sheeps anymore. Let's punish them all and go back to wired phones, Gameboys, and Walkman. Uuhhh - I can feel it. Do you feel it, too? Follow me. The victory is near.
Those who are crying about no charger or headphones...i bet you cried about iphone 7 without headphone jack, and now...everybody is doing the same, are you crying about everyone now or are you hypocrite?
Trust me, the rest will follow on this also...almost everybody will now remove the usbC charger and headphones
So stop cry now and after 2 years you will say its normal because your lovely brand is doing the same thing

It comes with 128gb variant.
IPhone 12 mini on other hand is 700$ for 64gb variant.
128gb will cost more.
It ships without charger or earphones.
Add Atleast 50$ for charger.
At the end it comes down to the price of 850$-900$.

I see the return of minis in mid to end of 2021 because the big welcome of the iphone mini forces android companies to save them a piece of the cake. It was about time.
Anonymous, 10 Oct 2020fair, I was considering the Xperia 5 II and Pixel 4a before the 12 mini came into focus, but t... morealso the price of the xperia 5II is a bit lower, some 50 to start with + charger included in price. al together, probably some 10-15% less for 5II. even now, on ebay, at discounted price the previous year i 11pro with 64g and no 5g is some 50 eur more expensive. probably in the end the option will boil down to strictly personal preferences.
What anyone has done with that LiDAR sensors in the iPad? Hope it doesn’t end up as duds for the most who may not even bother to use it! What I understand is that it is not as advanced like the ones in the cars and very rudimentary stuff and probably cheap and May be used to only to detect the distances between the mobile and the object. Apple obviously can give a spin with how this inspires taking photography to the next level sort of BS....but iBoy will take it with high note by parting $2000!!🤣🤣🤣
Android Authority, 10 Oct 2020Clearly you have never used a high refresh rate display as a daily driver on a smartphone. I used it, experience it and yes.... It useless.
Anonymous, 10 Oct 2020Did you forget about 6.1" models with flagship SD865?
fair, I was considering the Xperia 5 II and Pixel 4a before the 12 mini came into focus, but those two phones have very limited availability and the Xperia 5 II is at 12 Pro prices (it's better than the 12 Pro tho with a headphone jack and 120Hz).
here, where Samsung and Oppo rule the land and stock android is nonexistent, it's nothing but large phones and it's frankly maddening.
Hope the 5.4 inch iPhone inspires Android OEMs who otherwise don't hesitate to copy useless iPhone features like the notch, no SD card slot, no 3.5 mm jack. And other such junk. How about copying the 5.4 inch footprint and 5 years of os and security updates?

their lineup may be overpriced as shit but the fact that apple is making small high end phones again where android has abandoned that market makes apple's lineup more diverse than almost every android OEM this year.
[deleted post]Maybe if Apple stops promoting, as their own innovations, features that already existed for many years on Android...
