You can make up your backstory as hard as you like, it won't change a thing. Maybe just make Samsung sell more phones as they get more headline space on the gadget blogs.
Anonymous, 10 Oct 2020If you turn off 5g it will get you up to 6 hours (120 hz enabled)I like the sound of that. Also I don't want to use 120hz. To me it's just a gimmick that I couldn't care less about.
MrDung, 10 Oct 2020Actually, Exynos 990 beats the SD835 by quite a big margin. Exynos 990 is equivalent to SD845.... moreI'm also wanting to stay away from Chinese phones, just out of caution as much as anything because what's happened with Huawei proves they could be caught in a geopolitical mess at any time - it's why I replaced my Honor 9 with this A70. Shame, the price-performance edge for those Redmis and Realmes is significant. Fortunately there are usually reasonable prices available on refurbished Samsungs, so that's likely my first port of call for replacing this (or my husband's Honor 9).

Snapdragon, but a N20U I paid for upfront, at launch, after I preordered. Why would I troll Samsung if I paid so much for their latest and greatest (and priciest) consumer product?
There's no hyperbole in my comment. The Exynos 8890 was the last good flagship Exynos SoC (and I had an S7 powered by one. It's still going actually). The 8895 (S8) was very powerful, but heated fast, had worse battery runtimes than the SD835 and had issues sustaining its top speed. Same thing with the 9810 (S9) vs the SD845. And again with the 9820/5 (S10/N10). Aaaaand again with the 990 (S20). There's a lot of comparisons available between the Snapdragon and Exynos variants of those flagships. YT (ugh) or even XDA or anywhere in between.
Unfortunately, you attempted to make me look like a fanboy to try and discredit me, and failed, instead of using actual arguments. News flash, this is not how you have a civil conversation in a civilized society.
Stondec100, 10 Oct 2020The battery life is abysmal on the Snapdragon version too. I don't understand why they made the phone so thin. They could easily have made it thicker and incorporated a 6000 mAh battery.
AnonD-947580, 10 Oct 2020Exynos 990 can't even beat snapdragon 835..Sure, Karen.

I would love to have the ROG phone 3 too:)

But anyway, I already swapped my old Exynos S10 for a Snapdragon S20 FE. No performance complaints anymore, battery life is great at 60 Hz (barely use 120 Hz mode). I will never ever touch an Exynos Sammy again.
I nearly touched those Chinese brands, but after hearing further complaints from a large Android community in my country, decided to steer away.
My iPhone is a different story.
Yeah right. On the Exynos version the battery life will actually be worse than before. Probably only 3 hours SoT..
When available in India ?
I'm sending this on an A70 in the UK (an Exynos market). I would genuinely choose a Note 10 over a 20 as an upgrade path even at the same cost, and of course they're not. That is a genuine embarrassment to Samsung, and making me legitimately consider the Apple route when I previously hadn't.

How much did Samsung pay you to fake up the fact Exynos 9820 and up are not inferior SoCs?
Exynos 990 can't beat A12 or SD855 let alone the Mediatek Helio G90T.
Rareart1, 10 Oct 2020 Thanks for your input/feedback. i was going to get an Exynos Sammy flagship from Samsung'... moreS10e and S10 lite both are great phones with good value to price, I say you sick with it for a year before you upgrade.
