the Pro models don't really seem to be worth it over the base models this time, with the biggest differences being 10-bit screen, telephoto, LIDAR, stainless steel frame and maybe GG Victus unless they're giving that to the entire range.

For now I'm just glad it's the cheapest option and comparable to its closest rival in size, the Pixel 5.
Strawhat, 12 Oct 2020No high refresh rate on all iPhone?unfortunately not. Seems apple was banking on using LTPO panels to get 120Hz but couldn't get enough of them in time.
Don't care about the price. Will still be the bestseller like iPhone 11. Best phone 👍
If there is no huge differences between mini and the vanilla 12, i'm sure to go with the mini since i've been craving for compact yet reliable smartphone.
But i'll see the dimensions of 6.1 first. With Oled, i guess they will trim the bezel and make a more compact phone than the vanilla 11.
The Pro is way too expensive for me since the only differences are display tech (maybe?), Tele + lidar, and better ip rating.
is mini 699; I knew $649? which is already too much for a smaller phone; they could have easily omit 5g or OLED to lower the price of this mini smaller device. $549 would have been blasting... but, yes; now it seems, regular 12 will dominate the market...
Mini will rock coz that’s the whole idea of mobile phone.
If you come from QHD AMOLED then never bother to try 820p Liquid Retina BS. I tried and honestly there are far better options available even at the flagship level specs...for example, One Plus 8 Pro 256 GB 12 GB RAM with 120 Hz 6.8 QHD Super AMOLED is cheaper than iPhone 11 64 GB 🤣🤣🤣

Hardware Hypervisor, 12 Oct 2020$800? It's misleading to quote the price for US market only. We know for sure they will... moreExactly, in Denmark it will cost 1000 dollars or more due to 25% VAT among other extra fees.

Only Android is capable of selling phones i... moreso you owned the 2000 dollar android phone.
hee hee heee

Only Android is capable of selling phones i... moreWhen did even android phones become "Super Premium "?!
They are still struggling to make their phones run smoother with a Supercomputer spec AND Still lags :P
Anonymous, 12 Oct 2020As usual people will prefer the cheapest options. Only Android is capable of selling phones i... moreExcept it's not. Android market is dominated by sub 200€ "junk". Those 2000€ whatever devices are sold in few thousand pieces. That's a drop in the ocean on a global scale given there were 1.5 billion mobile devices sold in 2019...
Strawhat, 12 Oct 2020No high refresh rate on all iPhone?Keep begging until next year.
Anonymous, 12 Oct 2020As usual people will prefer the cheapest options. Only Android is capable of selling phones i... moreI thinks iphone is the only product with price almost to 2000$. Plus Android is the only phone can sell below 100$.😂
As usual people will prefer the cheapest options.
Only Android is capable of selling phones in the Super premium segment of above 2000$
5.4 inch will be the bestseller
That would be a fair prediction given the sales figures of iPhone 11. It sold well because it is the cheapest iPhone with a large display. The iPhone 12 is going to be $100 more but with updated specs so it should sell well too.
$800?
It's misleading to quote the price for US market only.
We know for sure they will be $1,000 outside US.
Not only we pay the Apple tax, but also the non-US tax
