It looks like Apple has cut corners on the battery to maximise profits.
If this is true then I cannot recommend.

          It is wrong.

Not all units of iphones have Samsung oled. Part has LG oled.
Companies rarely works with one supplier for any component when they need high number of pieces.

It's an option and people can turn it off if they want better battery life. There's no need to omit it yo preserve the battery and that's obviously not why Apple excluded the option

Most people prefer to have better battery life than having everything and the kitchen sink. Yes, 5G is slower than 4G at the moment because 5G is a new technology. 120hz is not new at all. Ipad Pros had them for a minute and even monitors have them. HRR screens are known for consuming A LOT of power. So Apple needs to figure out their software to a point where 120Hz sips little power while having the benefits.

Samsung is not the only supplier of these components.

LG , Boe, Visionox and China Star have oled for mobile - didnt P40 Pro use Samsung display in their flagship, the cheaper models used BOE and didnt Xiaomi use them for some of their flagships? Also Apple use Samsung displays and will do for Apples foldables

Toshiba sells UFS memory, there is another company that even announced UFS3.1 before Samsung - still doesnt mean they dont go to Samsung LOL

Samsung is not only supplier of memory RAM - never said they were, I said alot of companies get their RAM and Storage from Samsung, not every sigle OEM uses it on every single device

Sony and Omnivision sell cmos, Apple no longer uses Samsung Isocell on iphones. Just Sony exmor. - Xioami uses Samsung sensors on their devices the 108 MP sensors.

There are others theres no denying that but doesnt change the fact Apple and other OEMS need Samsung for tech thats just facts. So there is no way Samsung is a rubbish company considering so many companies use their tech.

LOL That's in the Verizon hq with the node above your head and in the street 10 metres from the 5G node. There are multiple tests and articles on the matter. That's why I said 99%. there is this one 1% where if you're in the right city and next to the right 5G node you can get 5G speeds - otherwise it's 50mbps or no 5G (if you can call it that) at all.

Smart decision by Apple. They don't need 120Hz display. I have a Note 20 ultra and I think the iPhone as is, is just as smooth as the Note 20 ultra.

I think it's a good decision by Apple to opt for 5G instead of the 120 Hz screen. From a marketing standpoint they need to compete with the Samsungs, Google, LGs, etc. pushing by the latest data connectivity as well as carriers (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, O2, Rogers Wireless) pushing their 5G coverage.

The best Apple can do is put a larger and longer battery life using at a minimum 90 Hz screen (like the previous OnePlus 7T Pro) It will still provide a smooth experience whilst keeping the battery drain in check.

I'm using the Samsung Note20 Ultra 5G with 120 Hz screen and 5G connectivity and with normal use, I am always almost looking for a charger before the day is over. The battery drain is just terrible.

I can turn off the 5G (switch to 4G LTE) and reduce the refresh rate to 60 or 90 Hz to save battery life, but why would I do that when the point of having a flagship phone is running it at its most fastest potential (5G ON plus 120 Hz ON).

It having 120hz or not will decide if i buy it or not. 5G isn’t available in most of the world but 120hz, most can make use of it.
                                      Not buying if no 120hz.

Not good look for Apple, when Android makers are able to put both of them and still get as good if not better battery life, why can't Apple?

This isn't Apple not having money to achieve it, it's Apple being lazy and wanting to milk as much money as humanly possible because they know ppl will buy their phones for status simbol.

Such a shame really, last year they finally looked like they decided to bring proper fight to android on all front, but they just went a step back.
