365h per year. That's 15 days.
If you charge just once per day.
I'd rather see extra money of 120Hz hardware/software to be applied someone else.

Even if they had put nothing new in the new one,it still would sell a lot! Marketing at it's best.Almost everyone is buying the brand and logo, not the hardware. Why do they make cases with a cutout at the logo you think?!They are only good in making standard tablets for a decent price. Do you think I can't afford it? Wrong... I do not buy like a sheep,I buy like a researcher..... If it is worth the money,I'll buy it... And don't come with your ancient phone talk from 5y old to me....
Evil, 12 Oct 2020Fanboys(whatever brand) stop justifying whatever the manufacturers throw at you. Question them... moreFanboys of any brand will never question their favorite brand. Or jump ship to other brand, that is why they are fanboys.
I had an iphone SE 1st generation. Very much liked that phone on iOS 13. Then IOS 14 came, I updated, and instantly didn't like it. Widgets and app library are a joke. It get on my nerve that the windows were always there when I scrolled all the way to the left or right. Also, battery was depleting faster in IOS 14 (even though I had new battery with 100% health status).
So, I sold the phone and bought an Android one. This is what non fanboys do. Probably next year or 2 years from now, if I will like more IOS 15 or 16, I will buy again an iphone. Simple. Instead, fanboys will rather die than change their precious brand (no matter which one it is). That is why fanboys are the worst kind of people ever, when it comes to gadgets.

It's very simple, apple know that most of their customers are not gamers (yes the iPhone is well known as a good phone for gaming but from the company's prospective it's not really a huge customer base for them), and most of them don't even know what 60-90-120Hz means. But don't give us some crap about power consumption and 5G... It's a decision made purely on profit bases.
Any idea about the resolutions on these models? Expecting 12 mini and 12 to have retina HD (not full HD) and iphone 12 Pro and Pro MAX to have full HD or super retina.

Which was cheaper, 5G modem or 120hz panel? Go for the cheaper option to maximise profit.
AnonD-940827, 12 Oct 2020Apple in financial trouble? Since they had to choose 1, of the 2 things they clearly could use. Apple is the greediest company in the world.

As an android user you shouldn't tell stuff like this, you ruin android fanboys credibility. 120Hz is best thing mankind have ever made and it's much have feature! Except with tablets it's of course completely pointless ;)

12 and 12 Mini do not have ToF, mmWave nor new 1/1.8" camera.
Only Pro Max.
By the way, according to rumors they are decreasing batteries compared to 11 series.

For non-gaming, I would say it's not a deal breaker.
It's a tough choice. 120Hz is good for games, but how many of those users game on their iPhone? Those Candy Crush type games don't need 120Hz.

[deleted post]A true anboy like statement...
2 or 3 years of software updates only..
Good haptics (not like iphones)
Bad colours in photos (except pixels)
Inferior video quality
Speakers all lose to iphones (except rog and gaming phones)
Doesn't hold their value as good as iphones
Follows the Iphones design
Very huge power consumption on things that don't matter as much to your lives
Huge camera bumps
I don't side with either of them, either have theor advantages and disadvantages.
I am only picking an side which I think is superior.
Curtently using the Mate 20 Pro.
I wouldn't want 120 hz when 60hz on the iPhone 11 is taking too much power
Battery barely lasts much with moderate use
