I am wondering why are they doing this since the real results are quite stunning.
Of course they do not compare with a DSLR or even mirrorless cameras (I own one so I know) but still, for a phone camera the results are exceptional, and in my humble opinion way above other phones.

My current understanding, however, is that Note 20 Ultra has a great camera but it's very well suited for natures/natural objects as it still applies a considerable amount of smoothening to the photos despite having a large sensor size.

Which one will be best for me since I do mostly nature, landscape and occasionally close up/macro of flowers.
Hope my questions are okay to ask. I saw many of your posts on the site and you seem to have an abundance of knowledge in the field.

I said if the image is same as what you're seeing with you own eyes at the present time then what's you problem with that ?

That's like AI detecting outline of a building from far away while taking a pic from periscope lens and filling insides of that building with a stock image representing floors and windows.
Android.Master, 13 Oct 2020Huawei was also caught artificially injecting moon image through AI while clicking the picture. Even if they do that, that's not a problem if the image feels real and matches with the current situation.
Yes, Huawei is the best at lying, it's not like they have not done it in the past with PSeries advertising that the phone takes pictures at DSLR level of quality, ant those pictures were taken with an actual DSLR camera instead of Huawei brick.
Undoubtedly Huawei is one of the best mobile manufacturer.
Android.Master, 13 Oct 2020Huawei was also caught artificially injecting moon image through AI while clicking the picture. Nobody was able to prove that the original claim was valid, though. In fact, Android Authority tried to replicate the results but they failed.

The one looks like a typical "good for smartphone but the quality objectively sucks" kind of photo. Couldn't they better compose the scene fully utilising the native FoV of the telephoto lens(es) and choose more attractive subjects to make the shot look at least professional? I know I'm asking too much from a mere Weibo post, but still.

The fact literally nobody gave a damn when others (HTC, LG, Sony Mobile, ASUS) used clearly DSLR-looking photos for their promotional materials to tease/introduce camera features in the past definitely tells us something.
Markuss, 13 Oct 2020when it comes to mobile phone photography, huawei is serious and maybe the best. But this year... moreHuawei markets P series as being centred on photographic capabilities, but the thing is that refinements always come in Mate series. They used Mate 20 Pro and Mate 30 Pro to iron out issues that existed in P20 series and P30 series and improved the image quality a lot, respectively.
I'm expecting that Mate 40 Pro will make at least one improvement from P40 Pro from the following:
-More accurate colour reproduction
-Better lens quality especially towards corners
-More efficient NR
This photo and moon looks so photoshoped ...
AnonD-947580, 12 Oct 2020I meant the photo is probably taken with a 20 $ camera. It’s probably taken by the Mate 40 Pro, you know, like they said? Yeah I remember the whole DSLR camera thing, but this this time I think it’s legit.
