when it comes to mobile phone photography, huawei is serious and maybe the best. But this year, xiaomi's m10 ultra leaped to no. 1. Mate 40 may regain the top 1 but I doubt it since the P series is always their finest unit in photography.
I have Mate 20 pro 2 years old and that phone is still better than my wife's new Samsung note 20 or my sister's IPhone 11... Better camera, better resolution, battery life, change speed... Everything! And of course on this older model I have access to Google apps store. Now I wait for Mate 40 pro and the best things is that I can move all apps, photos, files, etc. from the Mate 20 pro to Mate 40 pro yust using the Huawei phone clone. It takes a few minutes and everything is normally working on new phone...

huaweis cameras really are allways the best in their generation.
Dont trust huawei but trust apple you are holding it wrong.
Let me guess, american right
Huawei's flagship phones are hyoer expensive...
Now without Google services, I dont know how will they sell.
Actually most ugly phones are huawei phones 😁
AnonD-947580, 12 Oct 2020I meant the photo is probably taken with a 20 $ camera. The mate 40 is not launching in nz. This probably signals. Huawris exit from the smartphone market in a country that most phone makers largely ignore

As much as I agree with the whole trust issue with Huawei, let's not forget that even Nokia themselves have pulled similar stunts for marketing their Nokia 808 and Lumia 1020, by using professional tools to shoot photos and videos
StoneHenge, 12 Oct 2020Considering atleast 4 documented incidents when Huawei passed off "DSLR" photos as t... moreYes I remember reading about these news, they're such liars
Now they're copying Lumia's design language 😂😑
StoneHenge, 12 Oct 2020Considering atleast 4 documented incidents when Huawei passed off "DSLR" photos as t... moreMany of those issues seem not to be reported enough, because the media is so easily influenced.
Of late, they're showing Huawei as some poor victim, being harassed by american corporates by influencing executive orders. Regardless of the truth behind the whole snooping and the one aides trade deals in countries like china. Also, apple claims to be so high on personal security and yet it is the one which bent its own so called security rules for the government in china and ensured dissenters' details were shared with authorities, without any regard for personal liberties or freedoms.
AnonD-804996, 12 Oct 2020How is with Huawei these days anyway? I'm now entirely out of touch with their Kirin chip... moreAndroid or maybe Harmony. But no matter what it soon be possible to switch between Harmony and Android in settings... Very smart and clever..
If people want the Android they can get all the "forbidden" apps with Huawei Petal search app ✔️✔️✔️
AnonD-947580, 12 Oct 2020Photo is taken with a regular camera - not a mobile phone. If this is true or not, so what... We all knows how Huawei flagships performs and how the kick assshhh every year.
But u just continue to lie for ur self dude 👌🏻
StoneHenge, 12 Oct 2020Considering atleast 4 documented incidents when Huawei passed off "DSLR" photos as t... moreEven these DSLR photos are stolen from photography enthusiasts that were uploaded by them for free. This behaviour from a company that 'claims' to be earning Billions of dollars..but what else can we expect after incidents like when Huawei copied Cisco's router code word-by-word, along with the 'spelling mistakes' lol & the infamous Gal Gadot ad tweets for Huawei that were made through Twitter for iOS.
Lol, huawei has its history of fake photos, which only add to their lower than ever lack of trust worlwide, this device is DOA, no more, no less
StoneHenge, 12 Oct 2020Considering atleast 4 documented incidents when Huawei passed off "DSLR" photos as t... moreI totally agree with you buddy, that's why I don't even put the Huawei on the list of smartphones when I buy a phone for me.
Does not look impressive if its original file. Maybe if there is some comparison with others looking way worse...
Anonymous, 12 Oct 2020Nikon, Canon or Sony?
You never know.
Considering atleast 4 documented incidents when Huawei passed off "DSLR" photos as taken from their phones -
1. One incident in April 2020 itself, pictures from using Nikon D850 passed as Huawei.
2. P30 zoom fiasco (this picture is about zoom capabilities too ?!) in 2019.
3. Huawei Nova 3 fake selfies which were DSLR photos.
4. Huawei P9 photos actually shot by a Canon EOS 5D Mark III.
Can't really trust Huwaei anymore with all this shady stuff going on to fool the consumers. They make this 'mistake' repeatedly & then have to apologise again & again..
