Anonymous, 13 Oct 2020I agree with your points. But in 2007, 3.5 inch was really big.I am talking about iPhone 4 and the the subsequent few models stuck at 3.5" screen.
Jobs was comfortable with 3.5 inch screens when Android was already having 4.5 inch screen as standard.
Later Android phones were hovering around 5-5.5 inch screen, iPhone was still stuck at 4 inch screen.

Nobody would miss iOS if it's wiped off the face of the earth tomorrow.
We all know how Job's thermonuclear war on Android went downhill with them ending up copying and playing catchup like a dog.

lol it took them 10 years to deliver basic widgets and app drawer all of which are still half baked and full of bugs.
Even budget devices are embarrassing iOS in terms of software features and ease of use

I really laugh at people commenting around the Internet claiming that if Jobs was alive, Apple would have been innovating instead of copying. In reality, he thought 3.5 inch and 720p display was perfect. Didn't want to increase screen sizes like Android manufacturers.

Xiaomi. Always copying Samsung and Apple and claiming their own.
Remember how Xiaomi copied the iPhone X for their Poco F1 and Mi 8 and A2? Their facial unlock was half-baked however, with the Mi 9 and A3 completely dropping 3D unlock.

Jobs was genius on marketing and that was the only thing he was good at. Apple have always copied existing technology or just bought up a company and use there tech with apple sticker on them. Even this touchscreen phones were 3-4 years before the iphone. Only thing he made was speed up the progress to everyone to start making more of the touchscreen phones. I dont see anything innovating about Apple ever done. All they were good at was marketing and thats it

Qwerty , 12 Oct 2020Apple doesn’t lead anymore in innovation when Jobs past away. All their current tech where mos... moreVery true. I have an iPad Pro 2020. It's superbly built and very fast, but there's no innovation in the way it operates. In fact, it a pain. The on screen bar to indicate swipe up to display task bar is always in the way of anything else on the screen (such as my flack jacket level in PUBG Mobile!). Trying to find the power and volume controls is a nightmare on ALL iPads, they should be positioned on the front, visible! The OS is fast and slick, but a nuisance to manage files with, and it differs in operation from an iPhone or Mac. Steve Jobs was good at sitting down with Apple products and seeing flaws and encouraging innovation. Damn, the iPhone has not changed for years, and the iMac is way behind the sleep industrial design from Lenovo, HP etc. Upside, there stuff is still easier to use than the competition in general and more secure.

Anonymous, 12 Oct 2020What do you mean by "versatile"?Versatile in doing many things in the own but bettee implemented ways.
For Ex., Both Chinese and Samsung have different UI sounds and so do much , but Samsung does everything in most accomplished way.
