The phone isn't plastic build. The frame is still metal which is expensive.
Replacing plastic with the glass back. How much did it save for Samsung ?

Leaving aside this offer or this store on Ebay, Samsung phones are dropping in prices all the time, even after couple of months after release. 20%, 30% even 50% if you wait for more than 6 months.
If you are not in serious need of a phone in exactly that time period, Samsung phones are never a good choice to buy them immediately after release.

that Microsoft store on Ebay is SCMA, check google reviews off and you will know what I'm talking about. I bought Note 9 from this store and they sent a laptop when I called MS they said they have no idea about this store on Ebay.
they also sell refurb phones as new.
