In real world, the SOC can't utilize all that potential power as iOS is super handicapped.

AI chip is used throughout the OS.
One of the reasons why Huawei has the best camera performance is because of the AI capabilities of the Kirin Chip.

Kirin chips have always been in between that years SD and the next. So this isn't a surprise really. It's higher than the 865 but will probably be slightly lower than the 875.

i have xz2 and p20 they are same year device and actually p20 is around 60% slower in AI tasks compared to 845
even apple says their a14 is as good as old snapdragon :)

Since they are the first phone to have an NPU. They are only rivaled by the Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ in AI. Snapdragons and A14 can't even get close.
