Honestly, a nice bunch of phones, especially the mini.. But IOS and missing USB-C and MicroSD-Slot keep me waiting for a Galaxy S21 mini. Fingers crossed, that this will happen.

They will just take out from the museum and "rebrand" it a little bit, just to give people a false perspective that it is a new model or something.
But, it is normal with phone companies to do this. You go were the trend is going (because from there are the money coming). People wanted bigger phones since 3-4 years ago, everybody made bigger phones. Now people wants smaller ones too. So, manufacturers will make smaller phones.

They should have switched to USB-C about three years ago if they cared about the planet. I have seen iPhone users carrying their own cables with them, searching for them relentlessly. It's very stupid considering USB-C is a better technology than lightning. So instead of making iphone's port USB-C, they dropped the charger. They actually don't care about environment

Corporates and celebs bribe social media tech giants to manipulate numbers. Also, many smartphone launches have millions of people watch them, so this is probably around that ballpark.
The iPhone 12 will sell well. Though Covid would have reduced sales noticeably, I am guessing
