Anonymous, 14 Oct 2020Huawei always 1 step in front apple/samsung.Wrong, try again.

Samsung significantly leading in marketshare with almost double of Huawei. While Apple markets the best-selling phone, the iPhone 11.

Though Huawei is a good OEM but it's already slipping. Unlike Realme which has good sales but one of the worst brands out there

Does this design apply to all mate 40 series or pro+ only ? The difference between pro and plus this time is unknown and we saw a lot of cases for base and pro models are they wrong ? , confusing and mysterious that makes me more excited

Best in class battery life, first to introduce reverse wireless charging, fastest 49w charging at that tym, 40w wireless charging.. it was fastest when available commercially in Feb, first to brought under display fingerprint scanner and under display sound, periscopic lense, RYYB sensor, waterfall display, first to have punch hole camera(Honor v20).

Pretty much looks like a Leica summilux/summicron lens with the octagonal lens hood attached, at least from far distance. https://www.theverge.com/2019/3/7/18253745/leica-q2-camera-announcement-price-features-specs

Yes, i dig the looks! Bring it on Mate 40!

According to a tipster, October-14-2020 is the starting date of the official leaks for Mate 40 Series. All leaks (and renditions) before this date are fakes, with no exception.

Here is the first official leak with the sole intention to mislead. (No, the camera setup in the back is neither hexagonal nor octagonal, according to the tipster.)

[deleted post]Of course. they would always focus on Samsung\Apple being the rivals.. and they would even compare with them as some standard when Huawei brings in innovation in terms of design, Camera etc.. Huawei have made some huge strides since linking up with Leica and making their own Kirin SOCs..
