NotAnOpinion, 14 Oct 2020This seems like another loophole that Huawei is trying to circumvent the U.S. embargo.
Hono... moreYeah..all that is not going to work. The Commerce department will see right through it and the companies participating in it, like TCL & Xiaomi will too end up facing bans with loss of billions of dollars in revenue from North America.
Its just 'Don't do the cr!₩€, if you can't do the time'

Honor has no technology that is not shared with Huawei and its partners.
I bet the U.S. regulators are paying very close attention to these rumors.
While I find this situation unfortunate for Huawei, I can't help but feel curious about what would happen if Xiaomi actually ended up buying Honor brand.
Adul Al Salami Kebab, 14 Oct 2020Please not TCL...I prefer if they sell it to tcl and not Xiaomi. Because xiaomi already sells phones in a most of countries and tcl have some interesting phones but lacks brand recognition
