- no upgraded cameras except for pro max
- smaller batteries than last year although i don't know about battery life but for now i consider this as problem
And it is much pricier here 807€ for base version of mini so big no for me , iPhone 12 series are disappointing in every possible way and overpriced for what they offer

Apple is overpriced, now that they removed the adapter and gave you TYPE C to lightning will force you to purchase an adapter in addition to the phone, unless you want to use your old adapter and cable. Also they are flexing having super fast phones while it's barely faster than the last year. Apple fanboys really be buying ps4 performance for the price of tesla.

iPhone 12 Pro Max would get my money if I was upgrading. I daily carry both the iPhone 11 Pro Max and the Galaxy Note 10 Plus. I like big phones. I'll wait for the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Next year I want the Note 21 Ultra

Are you assuming it is going to have a better result? Did you test it yourself? Explain your math how did you come up with these numbers?
Every years it is the same old story of new glass new martials and ultimately they are weaker than advertised.

Iphone 12 mini is too small for me. 11/xr is dimensionally large. 12 and 12 pro is also large. I'd prefer a dimensional size somewhere between 6s and iphone 11 with 5.8'' display.
But realistically, I'd prefer to go for 12 pro over 12 cz I'm not a rich but kind of person who prefers to spend few extra to get the absolute best. If price difference were >300 then 12 was best among the current available products, but; with only over 150 more, I think 12 pro is my device.

I'm not interested in apple-stuff in general. But the iphone mini can't come fast enough. The sooner it comes, the sooner the android-competition will expand with minis or compacts again because it will be a huge success. Surely they won't push big phones out of the market, but every 4th or 5th would love a small phone, I guess. If Sammy & Co. do not realise that this is a huge customer base, they would be ignorant and maybe lose one or another potential buyer to apple. And times are over to give up a lot of money whith giving a miss to them. Also, when observing the used market, you can see, that phones like xperia compacts sell very well and with high prices. So this makes clear, that people want small phones again. And not quite a few.

JDK, 18 Oct 2020Having 5 year support on iPhone and roughly 2.5 year support on android means iPhone theoretic... moreI do admit iPhones having long support is something good, and every phone must have it, but then again, only flagships need that kind of assurance, as people buying cheap phones likely don't care about a long support. If I bought an iPhone or any expensive phone for that matter, I'd ask for a long support as well, which iOS owners get as the phone comes costly, so it's good for them to have it

I'm content with my iPhone 11 Pro Max, but, if a great holiday sale arise, well, things could definitely change with an great trade-in plan with extra perks!
