NotAnOpinion, 16 Oct 2020To all the Apple's haters, what now?
A14 is the fastest chipset.
And eventually, Q... moregive me a proof that the a14 is the fastest chipset mr li-ar or mr fan-boy
you don't have anyone like every other apple fanboy,
Bring some popcorn and wait for speed test between A14 and Snapdragon 875.
Still not a right time to purchase one unit 5G smartphone including Apple,Samsung or others. The best timing to hand in @ 2023....

Foxconn is an Taiwanese company that the government of Taiwan has denounced China's rule decades ago but China is to much of a bully to except it.

Even though they lead in manufacturing them
To all the Apple's haters, what now?
A14 is the fastest chipset.
And eventually, Qualcomm will catch up but guess what, that's still American vs American.
I don't see China's chipset in this race. Do you?
Ripping customers off by saying same processor. Actuaöly it is worse
Anonymous, 16 Oct 20205G really consumes the battery such that even the efficient 5nm chipset has to throttled down,... moreThat would be a disaster for the iBoys who have pre ordered and waiting for the delivery! People are paying serious money for these mobiles, hope they don't put up with these limitations
Anonymous, 16 Oct 2020Bionic 14 is probably the worst 5mn soc that will release this year. 5mn midrange 1080 exyn... moreNot really considering 7nm vs 5nm powerdraw, thermal , battery efficiency etc come into play. Apple trying bravado with smaller battery but with powerful smaller processor. Let's see how far this goes. There must be a good reason that they have NOT compared there performance of A14 with A13.
AnonD-940827, 16 Oct 2020Antutu clearly doesn't know Apple. Don't believe Antutu score because the device is not our hands.
5G really consumes the battery such that even the efficient 5nm chipset has to throttled down, 90hz/120hz screen axed.. i'm not surprised when the review comes out even the screen is dimmer.. All efforts to save battery just to experience 5G in its infancy? Lol
It makes more sense now why the scores are unimpressive, similar to the iPhone SE 2020 case. Underclocking would yield better battery life efficiency considering how power hungry Apple chipsets have been but then again, iPhones rarely use its big cores in real world usage. However, this wasn't the case when using other benchmarks, iPhone SE 2020 had similar performance with the iPhone 11 series which I checked at Anandtech. iPad Air Antutu score shows that there definitely IS an improvement from its predecessor. Anyways, the iPhone 12's sustained performance should improve coupled that with lower temperatures. I cannot bare phones that get uncomfortably hot when gaming.
