I rather waste less time as possible charging than wanting my phone to last me x days. Time is always more important than a iphone lol.
by your logic every other phone before these high current charging phones would have just as good battery. 🙄

Even if apple is cheating on customers. Many people are still buying their products. That $500 million fine is miniscule for a trillion dollar company.
[deleted post]Just as you said. "Note 7 was recalled way before many injuries took place". But before they even began recalling the note 7. There were already too many injuries. Even cars and properties destroyed. Of course samsung never went through such issues again because they were replaced by Samsung Galaxy Fold Screen scratch resistant.
According from your LIST. Those issues that you've mentioned aren't widespread. Unlike what happened in samsung galaxy note 7. Which were having troubles from the customer, and even went far as not being able on flight if you have a samsung galaxy note 7.
If you think Apple PR is paying to cover these news. Aren't android manufacturers doing the same thing? How about YOU Tell me what will happened to those smartphones with only having 40 - 50% battery health after almost a year of usage? Especially if they're using a QUICK/FAST Charging adapter like 60W and above?
Foxtrot2Novmbr, 19 Oct 2020Then what's this?

That's chump change compared to 500 miliion that Apple has to pay for deliberately cheating their customers.

I recently got to know that it has unofficial Ip67 rating as well.
Anonymous, 19 Oct 2020Android isn't paying 500 miliion fine for any malpractice since there is none. Then what's this?
Tell me what happened to huawei?
sa11oum, 19 Oct 2020Gets to 50% battery health in 2 months"Even after the industry standard of 800 full charges, it can provide 90% of its original capacity"
Lol it doesn't matter that the article shows that the battery is of a higher 6c quality and even shows that it retains 90% capacity for a year plus.....
People like you just want to scream out battery degredation , you fit well with the people were against electricity, motor vehicles and planes
Im using realme x2 pro with 50w charger, finish charging from 0 to 100 at 30 minutes. Bought it since launched i have no problem at all. So for everyone who still believes myths that bigger wattage can degrade battery faster, grow up dude.

If you think iphones are quite fragile. Have you even think of getting a HARD CASE? It's what every smartphone owners do.
How about you tell me the screen of the samsung galaxy fold? As to why the screen will scratch so easily by fingernails?

It's called Batterygate.
The... moreIf you think battery gate is an issue on iphone. Then you don't know that the problems on android is much worst.
First of all. If the manufacturer is selling fast charging. How come they didn't tell us about the battery degradation after a year of usage? This is something that ROG phone 2 is experiencing.
Second. When samsung start selling Galaxy note 7. They didn't mentioned about exploding batteries and just keep selling. After many explosions and injuries, then they start recalling those note 7. How come they didn't help those person whose body have BURNED portion where the samsung note 7 was placed?(Like the front Pocket)
Third, According to Xiaomi. Their Mi 10 Ultra with 120W charger will have 90% battery health before 800 charging cycles. This means that after surpasing the 800 charging cycles. Battery health will get worst. Didn't you know that majority of android handsets after a YEAR or two won't reach half a day even if use lightly?
There are lot of issues on android when it comes to battery you know.
