If they are going to put bezel on top and bottom, why not make that top bezel slightly bigger to get rid of the dual punch hole forever?

As someone else pointed out, if you look REAL close on that too left sensor, that is a Periscope lens. But a 20MP wide angle sensor? That's a heck of a downgrade from the Mate 30 Pro...
Other than that, if it's 90Hz on basically 1080p with that battery, I'm not interested. Gonna wait for the Pro+ to see if that sparks my interest. Otherwise, the ROG phone 3 gets my money (before you @ me, I don't care THAT much about the camera despite what I said above this paragraph).

I love how the back of this render looks like. A circle looks good, better in my opinion than a square one.

Curved displays are bad but Waterfall displays are the worst thing that can happen to a phone.

Somehow the whit... moreYes, I see a slight resemblance as well, and maybe Huawei intended it to be that way as they have had a partnership with Leica in the past. The white color also highlights the curved screen beautifully and while I'll go for the black, the white looks really good on this phone. IMO this is how flagship phones must look like

I like the design. The camera layout certainly looks miles better than the rumored pentagon design.
Personally, I prefer the P-series though, but still looking forward to see how this Mate turns out.

Don't care about no GMS, I'm open minded enough to know there are alternatives and not to just say 'no' like an idiot. I do just wish they hadn't used another huge pill punch hole. That thing is distracting.

Somehow the white color on this Mate 40 reminds me of a Leica TL2 camera.

Very nice design I don't mind bezels that much but that screen is to big my maximum size is 6.2 I don't want larger

Wow that camera design looks nice although case makers beware! This phone is not easy to make a case for XD
