Bought this as my go between for next few years. It does job for work less play as it can take 256sdxc card and it has a huge battery life - more than 2 days is very good when you are on the go and between locations a lot. Camera/Vid neh - you buy a camera phone for holidays not work. One thing Motorola does better is give you a very reliable interface which you can modify for your business use. Whilst market is trending big on 5G and camera quality, I prefer to stick with the mid to lower market and not see my phone being expoited a genuine media hub. I dont buy a phone that cannot perform because its OS is crammed with too much bling. It is sensible to ignore the hype and when you decide to buy a phone, make a list of everything you need and expect from that device. I personally think the Moto G9 Plus is well priced and gives a lot more than many others in its class but thats my research in all the other brands stacked against what I specifically wanted my phone to do. Other people will have thgeir own expectations so I'm not being biased in writing this comment. Choose well and ignore the sales reps when you go to purchase you phone.

I wonder when we will see Amoled screen and RAM upgradation from 4 GB to atleast 6 GB... performance is hampered if alone processor is upgraded without RAM..Moto India need to think on this and act quick or else customers will choose other brands.
Yogi , 21 Oct 2020I've been a Moto user since the Moto XPlay and all I wanted to know is, does it worth to ... moreIs only worth upgrading if you want Android 10. But I wouldn't upgrade to the g9. I would go for the poco X3. Way better specs for less money.
I loved my G7 Power and thought it was the perfect phone until I got the G8 Power a few months last Feb. The G8 Power has the same great near-superhuman battery life, but the killer feature it has over the 7 is fairly decent stereo speakers. That's a deal breaker for me with the 9 since it has the same crappy mono speaker as the 7.
I would buy the G8 Power again. It's hands down the best phone I have ever owned. It's not fancy, but seems to be durable and solid and affordable.
Had g4, and g6 the spcts not too bad but the ,, dolby,, sound which you can not switch of and on lowest sound its very loud , put me of motorola for good, i better pay double the price but get a quality product . Motorola never again.
I've been a Moto user since the Moto XPlay and all I wanted to know is, does it worth to upgrade the G8 plus. The 128 of storage sure is tempting, but no splash resistant. So it comes down to the chipset and battery life. I loved the G7 but the battery was a joke but at least the display was Gorilla 3. The G8 is at least splash resistant with a 4 mah that's not bad.
Avoid Moto G phones like the plague. You pay more for lower specs and you NEVER get android updates. Been using them since the original Moto G but after The 8plus still waiting for Android 10. Terrible company.
