IP68 is international standard.
You cannot have higher depth with same rating.
Same way IP67 means less than 1,5m.
So...
S20/20+ are the losers here? Doesn't matter what kind of SoC inside, screen refresh rate etc. They're all running with full muscle on 5G network.
Anonymous, 21 Oct 2020iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max already have QHD+ screens.
If they reduce the notches next yea... moreThey do not.
Iphone 12 pro max : 2778 x 1284 = 3.566.952
Galaxy s6: 2560 x 1440 = 3.686.400
S20+ = 6.7" and 525ppi
Max = 6.7" and 458ppi

5G is so useless... By 2025 only one third will have access to 5G so
Right now what would be the percentage... Why bother to add a feature that just an extremely small percentage of the population will be able to use... I would have definitely upgraded my iPhone XS If the 12 would have had a 120hz refresh rate. But 5G is really overrated for now.
Anonymous, 21 Oct 2020Well, the do have much improved screens, better design, magsafe, 6 meter water resistance on a... moreHave fun charging your iPhone twice a day, lol. And those features are mostly gimmicks.
For a small 2800mah compared to the S20 phones which easily have 1000mah more, it's still rather impressive that these smallish phones can still provide usable battery life.
Of course they won't impress fandroids, there aren't android phones....
But why do fandroids like to comment negatively on something if they don't bother with it in the real world?
Anonymous, 21 Oct 2020And I thought iPhone 11 is already bad since it's not improving much from XS. iPhone 12 i... moreWell, the do have much improved screens, better design, magsafe, 6 meter water resistance on all phones which is industry leading.
JDK, 21 Oct 2020Pixel 5 is using midrange chip so that's not a fair comparison. Is oneplus 8t 5G using... moreStill the iPhone have the advantage of highly efficient 5nm chip while other models are using 7nm chips.
[deleted post]the thing is it was apple's selling point... which is just a moat one
Anonymous, 21 Oct 2020iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max already have QHD+ screens. If they reduce the notches next yea... moreEven the Bigger iPhone 12 Pro Max have only 1284×2778p resolution compared to the 3200×1440p of Galaxy S20 and it is nearly 25% more pixels.
AnonD-762416, 21 Oct 2020....and it disabled 5G entirely if you have more than one SIM. This phone is turning out to be... moreNothing of value is lost by disabling 5G.
Pixel 5 is using midrange chip so that's not a fair comparison.
Is oneplus 8t 5G using 120hz AND 5G or only 120hz? It wasn't clear in the graph.
Also iPhone 12 pro should not have scored better than iPhone 12 if they have the same battery capacity and same display.
I don't think tom's guide was using the same 5G, I dunno.
AnonD-762416, 21 Oct 2020....and it disabled 5G entirely if you have more than one SIM. This phone is turning out to be... moreAccording to Apple, it's software related and they will patch it next year.
That chart is horrible. Why do the iPhones have the most consuming mode listed first, while the S20s, Pixel and OnePlus have their least consuming mode first?
With the same battery, same processor and same screen, why does the Pro last longer?
And I thought iPhone 11 is already bad since it's not improving much from XS. iPhone 12 is much worse, no significant improvement on CPU or GPU side, smaller battery, no charger and the same price. Did COVID get the best of them or they just lazy this year?
It is completely normal.
Anonymous, 21 Oct 2020Imagine if they had QHD or 4K screen.
LOL ....
11 series last well because of FHD screen.
iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max already have QHD+ screens.
If they reduce the notches next year they will go even higher I'm resolution.
....and it disabled 5G entirely if you have more than one SIM. This phone is turning out to be one of their most half-baked phones ever.
"It just works!"
