Can't really compromise on the performance aspect just to get a cheaper phone. MediaTek chipset in the K30 Ultra ensures better performance than its Snapdragon counterpart.

The K30 pro is not 3000. It cost 2600 in June for the 8/128 version. If you can read Chinese and went onto the mi-community app, people were picking it up around 2300 for the 8/128 and the zoom version under 3000. The discounts were quiet good. There might be some good deals on 11/11 to watch for.

For greater performance and also better affordability a Dimensity will be better than the SD chipset in terms of performance while equaling the price

Redmi K30 Ultra is a better option for me with MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor. Don't need Snapdragon 865 processor.

I think GSMARENA misunderstanding the post made by the digital station.
He doesnt mean the K30S(mi10T) will be cheaper than K30U.What he said is the price of K30s will be lower than what his followers guessed.While K30U is still out of sale(due to lack of MTK D1000+ chip supply,realme x7pro have same problem),you can pay a little more to get a better gaming phone(sn865＞mtkd1000+)
At the comment of the post,he mentioned'the advantage of K30U is 120HZ OLED screen and without hole on screen,and it still will be a little chear compare to K30s',meaning the price of K30s will be higher
