And why on earth do you need to do all these tinkering to get the apps you want/need to "work" on this ultra expensive 1200€ device? This should should be a Requirement. It's Huawei's work to figure out how...
People who buy new phones, just want to be able to use them from the get-go. And not to tinker to make them somewhat usable (if they are lucky). Most don't even have the knowledge or patience to do this.
It would be better if Huawei would already use their Harmony OS, to avoid confusion.

Good luck with that price. If they really want to sell it, they need to price it below 600. Even with GMS, it would not be worth 1000, not with that name.
I think these 'cheap' companies are trying to up their brand by putting ridiculous prices on their phones so they can later sell them at 50% off and make it seem like a good deal. But I personally think they just don't want to sell them, that's why they have these ridiculous prices. Save money on production, shipping, warranty... by not selling.

Too much .. How much time does it take to install apk file through sideloading? Pretty sure, it isn't more than a few seconds.
And most of the apps are easily available on other Android app stores like Huawei app gallery, Fdroid, Aptiode, etc.
Or Just spend 5min on YouTube to watch tutorial, get Google Play Store installed and stop whining
