India & China are the best markets for smartphone purchases in the world right now.
All type of brands available, with the prices usually on the cheaper side.
US users have the worst choice among smartphone brands.

Was considering to buy new iphone but prices r ridiculous compare to US/Canada/Japan or even China. And that too without charger in the box. iPhone 11 is selling lower than Oneplus 8t. But not interested in ips hd+ screen.
I remember just cos Huawei was there Samsung n Apple always used to keep low prices or atleast offers (freebies or cashbacks). And Honor/Huawei was the fastest growing brand in India in 2017-18. Way ahead of Xiaomi n Oneplus. But after it's exit or no launches after p30 pro the other two companies r doing monopolies here in india. Scamsung launched s20U/Note20U at very very high price with laggynos n Apple as always way expensive with no charger n just 64gb base storage.
Huawei always offered free tws/headphones or wireless chargers.
Hv no hopes from Xiaomi(poor software n not so appealing cams with unlimited products launch) n Oneplus with poor quality phones(all phones of 2020 have serious display bleeding issues).

Indian market is somehow just like Chinese market at 2012-2015,people are not too rich, most of them prefer a cheap phone with a better SoC,so they can use it longer.
That is how Xiaomi become successful in China, they put most powerful Soc in a mid price phone and put mid range soc in a low end phone
I used to remember my first andriod phone is samsung galaxy ace(s5830) at 2011,with a single core 800mhz soc.I bought it at 1700 CNY(~220USD).Them xiaomi release MI1,with 1.5GHZ dual core at just 1999CNY(250USD)

Anonymous, 22 Oct 2020And ppl used to say Indians were becoming anti-China? I do not see this here ... I dont think Indian will choose worse samsung phone with high price and low performance(I know samsung have some advantage like screen, but for most not too rich guys, performance depend on how long you can use it)
For the same reason, although China-US relationship go worse,Tesla remain the top sell electric car in China

Sorry Apple with iPhone 12 price the upward trend started during iPhone 11 may get reversed. Youu can't sell iPhones starting prices (Min8 of course) higher than OP8P and Galaxy Z Fold 2(Pro Max of course).....
